Chapter 10 - it's obvious

* it's back to Anna's POV btw *

I made my way up Weston's path, holding my phone in my hand tightly by the popsocket, and the other hand intertwined with Tayler's.
Yep, that's right. I invited Tayler.
If Grayson's bringing his new girlfriend, why can't I? I mean, she's hardly his girlfriend, she's just playing his game that he's got all planned out.
" you ready to meet my friends? " I asked, and he smiled widely.
Gosh that smile. Tayler is really attractive, and he's also an amazing guy. He's a youtuber like my friends and I too, which is pretty great. He's loyal, cheerful, sweet and had a good sense of humour, what more could a girl ask for? But I just feel guilty. Such an amazing guy is being used. And the worst part is, it's by me.
I picture Tayler more as a close friend, but who knows? If he ever finds out what I've been doing this whole time I'm not sure he'll want to be in a friendship.

" ready as I'll ever be! " He laughed, squeezing my hand reassuringly.
I smiled, knocking on the door a few times, but I knew it'd take a while for Weston to answer... he's probably in his room playing club penguin to be honest. Oh, wait, club penguins dead...
Let me rephrase that, he's probably in his room mourning the loss of club penguin.

I heard footsteps making their way to the door, and a smiley Ariel opened it.
" hey guys! " Ariel smiled, pulling me in for a hug then looking at Tayler.
" you must be Tayler, I'm Ariel " she opened her arms and hugged him too, thank god they're getting along.
He smiled, and Ariel welcomed us into Weston's home which I love more than anything. I'm always happy when I'm at Weston's house, and I don't know why.

I introduced Tayler to all of my friends, and everyone loved him. They thought he was funny, down to earth and a really genuine guy, which is true. He honestly is.
Cameron and Kendall weren't here, they had to take Jayden to his first day of nursery, which is really exciting. Tayler was already pretty good friends with Cameron though, and he met Kendall a while back because of him... small world, huh?

I sat down next to Brandon, and he smiled at my company.
" Anything else happened? " He asked me, when everyone else was too busy in conversation with Tayler to notice.
Brandon was the only person I'd told about what's happening with Tayler besides Ethan, and I trust him. Out of my group of friends, I'm probably the closest with Brandon. He's like my little brother. Don't get me wrong, I love them all and they're all my bestfriends, but Brandon and I are much more like siblings in the group, haha!
" nope, where's Dick-son? " I asked him, using the code name for Grayson.
" he's not here yet, currently waiting for him and bitchie to show up " He nodded, referring to Sophie.
I laughed, loving how we'd both remembered the code names we'd created.
Almost on cue, we heard a few knocks at the door.
" I'll get it since it's probably Gray " Ethan smiled, standing up and looking at me sympathetically.
Ethan knew too obviously, and I could tell he was finding it awkward seeing Grayson with Sophie ( let me add, he's his ex who he slept with a while back, just sayin! )
" prepare for the awkwardness guys, just prepare " Blake joked.
I chuckled lightly, as did everyone else.
" no but seriously, it's about to get awkward real quick so if somebody has to make conversation, it's not me " Blake repeated, and I nodded my head.
" Weston you're the most lively, you can do the job " Olivia smirked, as Weston through his arms up in the air to surrender.
" why do I have to- " Weston began, before being interrupted.
" BOO! " Grayson yelled, which caused Weston to jump into the air, landing on Hunter with a thud.
I could tell everyone wanted to laugh, but the fact that he could've heard the conversation put everyone on edge, also the fact that there was a cheese puff clinging onto his arm.
" Guys, this is Sophie " Grayson introduced, referring to the girl.
" Hi " She said, god her voice was irritating.
" we know " Hunter rolled his eyes.
" be nice guys " Grayson added, sitting down with her on his lap.
Like... do everyone a favour and get a room please.
Everyone sighed, obviously getting a little agitated. Nobody likes her, and I mean no one. Ever since that time Grayson slept with her while we were dating, everyone hated her. Wait, I'm wrong! Even when her and Grayson were dating years ago they hated her! It was like a breath of fresh air when he broke up with her, and now she's back. No thanks.
" So " Ashton began, trying to start conversation.
I could feel Grayson's eyes burning through the back of my head, and I didn't dare make eye contact. Oh, what did I do you ask? I kissed Tayler with as much passion as possible, that's what I did.
I slyly turned around, his jaw clenched angrily and his eyes now focused on something else. He's jealous. Ha! That got him. But just as I thought I was winning, he placed his hand under her butt, making her let out an annoying giggle. Shit, I guess I'm losing now.
" you're making this really obvious, you know, A " Brandon informed me, making sure to say it quietly.
I shook my head, trying to figure out my next move. He was right though, if we're going to play this game, we've got to do it better. Gosh he's got it coming his way ;)
