Chapter 22 - long time no see

I rolled of bed, groaning as I hit the floor with a thud. At least it woke me up, otherwise I would've been in bed for much longer :)
" Did you really just fall out of bed? " Grayson asked with a laugh, standing at the door of his room.
He was already fully dressed, and his outfit looked pretty freaking nice. Sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky... He's gorgeous, he's kind, he's funny, he's just amazing!
" Yep, I did " I chuckled, standing up and reaching for the hairbrush.
I brushed through my hair, the horrible sound of tatty hair ringing in my ears repeatedly.
" Ethan's gone out with Liv, so it's just me and you today " He smiled, sitting down on the bed.
" Why don't we chill here? I want to start planning the wedding! " I grinned, placing the brush down on his desk and sitting beside him.
" already? We just engaged a few days ago " He laughed.
" yeah, but I don't want to wait forever to get married... I want to do it this year, in Autumn " I shrugged.
" autumn starts in like... four months " Grayson said, raising a brow.
" I know... I told you I wanted to get married quite soon, so I want to plan it as soon as possible " I laughed, and he nodded.
" well I'm excited " he smiled, placing a kiss to my cheek, and one on my shoulder.
" me too " I began, soon realising that I hadn't even told my family back in Florida.
I jumped up, grabbing my phone and unlocking it quickly. Grayson stared at me in confusion, as my hands became shaky and I tapped my phone furiously.
" what's up, A? " He asked, pulling me back down next to him gently, wrapping me in his arms.
" we need to tell my Aunt Macy and grandma... what if they don't accept it? I don't know " I sighed.
" Anna, they will. They love me " Grayson smirked, flipping his non existent long hair over his shoulder when he said the last sentence.
I laughed, beginning to feel calm once again. I always get nervous and worked up about the stupidest of stuff, but Grayson somehow manages to help me each time.
My finger hovered over the FaceTime button, and Grayson clicked it for me, considering it would've took me another few seconds. I'm obviously excited to tell them, but I'm nervous and I don't know why!
The annoying beep sound was heard, and shortly after, connecting appeared at the top of the screen.
" Anna!! " My aunt smiled, the biggest grin on her face.
" Hi! We miss you " I said, all of my nerves being washed away by the sound of her voice.
" we miss you too, darling. How's Gray? " She asked, and I turned the camera so she could see him.
" He's here, and we need to tell you and grandma something " I smiled, and she nodded quickly.
She then called for my grandma, who appeared on the screen with her a few seconds later.
" So, Grayson and I have news " I smirked, and they clapped their hands excitedly.
" Am I going to be a grandma again!?! " Aunt Macy giggled, beginning to get excited.
I shook my head, chuckling. I love how she treats me like her own daughter, it makes that part of my life that I missed out on feel slightly complete.
" no... not yet anyway " Grayson said, and I smiled.
They waited anxiously for us to say what we had to say, and when we did, a large grin appeared on their faces.
" we're getting married " We both said in unison.
They cheered excitedly, clapping their hands and jumping up and down.
" I can't believe this... congratulations! " My grandma said, slightly out of breath from her dancing and squealing.
" thank you! I love you both " I said, beginning to tear up.
" well, we have news too " Aunt Macy smirked, wiggling her eyebrows.
Grayson and I exchanged looks, before looking back at the screen.
" Your grandma and I have been thinking about moving to New Jersey " She confessed, as my eyes lit up.
Holy shit.

After mine and Grayson's long FaceTime call with my family, we decided to start looking at venues. You could say that we're just really eager to get married... or that we're rushing things, but I think that we're just being prepared! We're really excited, and we want to get married and hold the ceremony as soon as possible. So if anything, we better hurry up.
After looking for hours, we came across the most beautiful venue I've ever seen. It had a large garden, with neatly trimmed hedges and trees in the background. It also had an indoor hall, with glass ceilings and huge glass windows. It would definitely be quite expensive to pay for, but this is my wedding. It feels weird saying it... I'm getting married, and I wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life with anyone else.

A/N - Cute chapter I guess, but this book is coming to an end guys! It'll probably end at around chapter 28, but there will be a fourth book.

A lot will happen in the last 6 or so chapters though... like a death, HUGE and I mean HUGE news, and obviously the wedding💘💗
