~Back at the house
Selena: *gets out of the car and quickly runs inside the house*
Demi: Hey Sel, how did it go?
Selena: It’s over.
Demi: *quickly stands up* What do you mean it’s over? Is he coming back?
Selena: No, I mean it’s over. For the both of us. I’m not going to marry him anymore and I’m not staying with him this time. I’m leaving him.
Demi: Selena, what happened?!
Selena: He just wouldn’t stop fighting with me and it got bad that he admitted that he never loved me. *crying*
Demi: *quickly walks over to her and holds her* Sel, that’s not true! You know it is. Nick loves you so much. He would do anything for you. Don’t end it like this.
Selena: Why bother? He showed me his darker side. And I won’t love him if this is all I’m ever going to see. I’m not going to marry him anymore and he definitely doesn’t deserve to see his children anymore. I’m taking them with me whether he likes it or not. And I’m pretty sure he won’t. But I don’t care anymore. I’m done with him.
Demi: Selena, don’t do this. Go back to the treatment center and help him. You know he can’t do this alone and he wants you to be there for him. Remember, he has so many issues that he has to control himself. But he needs you to help guide him or else he might lose this fight. His depression may kill him.
Selena: *weakly* Please don’t say that. Please. I loved him so much, but I can’t do it again. He won’t try hard enough for me and I can’t stay any longer with someone who doesn’t prove his love.
Demi: You really want to end it?
Selena: No, I don’t. I love him.
Demi: Sel, go back. If you truly love him, then go back and stay with him. Because he has the one thing you really need.
Selena: And what’s that?
Demi: Love. You both love each other so much. Nothing could tear you apart except each other. But you have to fight. Fight if it hurts so badly. Don’t ever let him go.
Selena: Ok. *quickly leaves the house and drives back to Promises* *runs out of the car and back inside, towards the garden and finds Nick with his guitar* Nick?
Nick: *looks up* Why did you come back?
Selena: *walks towards him* I promised I wouldn’t ever let you go.
Nick: I was sure you were going to leave me and take our kids away.
Selena: Nick, please don’t break my heart. You always do this to me and I can’t take it.
Nick: *stands up* Then don’t stay. You don’t have to stay with me anymore. I’m not going to keep hurting you if I’m the one who's causing your pain.
Selena: You don’t want us to be together?
Nick: I’m not going to answer that.
Selena: Do you even love me anymore?
Nick: Leave me alone. That’s what you wanted.
Selena: Answer my question, Nick.
Nick: *sighs* Yes.
Selena: *grabs him and kisses him*
Nick: *kisses her back*
Selena: You were everything that I wanted. Don’t leave me.
