~July 7, 2015 - Joe and Demi's house - their bedroom
Demi: *calls Dianna*
Dianna: Hi sweetheart, how's it going?
Demi: It's going good. I'm here at the house. I have a quick question.
Dianna: What is it?
Demi: How am I supposed to tell when it's almost time? I feel like it is, but nothing's happened yet.
Dianna: It just takes time, Demi. No matter how fast you want to get over it, you just have to wait. Where's Joe?
Demi: He's meeting with his dad right now.
Dianna: Alright. Have you felt any contractions lately?
Demi: No. But I thought I did earlier.
Dianna: Well, make sure you're prepared to go the hospital in case your water breaks.
Demi: I know, Mom. I just hope Joe can still make it when it's time.
Dianna: Why is that?
Demi: His meeting is on the farthest side of LA and I'm scared he might get stuck in traffic.
Dianna: Don't worry so much, Demi. I'm sure he'll make it on time.
Demi: Okay. Thanks, Mom.
Dianna: You're welcome. Remember to call us when it does happen. I want to meet my grandson.
Demi: Of course, Mom. I wouldn't ever want to leave you out this.
Dianna: Alright. Call me later. *hangs up*
Demi: *phone rings, caller ID: Joe* Hey babe.
Joe: Hey Demi, I have some news.
Demi: *irritated* What?
Joe: I might be late coming home tonight. My dad is making me do a publicity event and I have to work late.
Demi: Are you serious? Joe, what if I go into labor today? How are you going to get out of it?
Joe: I'm not sure, Demi. I'll try whatever I can if that does happen. Just call me. I have to go. Call you later. *hangs up*
Demi: Great. *calls Selena*
Selena: Hey Dem.
Demi: Girl, I have a problem.
Selena: Does it involve Joe?
Demi: Yes. Apparently he's working late and I have a big feeling I might into labor today.
Selena: Well, don't push it. If it happens, it's obviously going to happen. Did he tell you if he might get out of whatever he's doing?
Demi: He said he'll try. I swear, if he misses his son's birth, I'm going to slap him.
Selena: Dem, calm down. I'm sure he'll be there. He wouldn't want to miss his son's birth for anything.
Demi: I hope so.
Selena: I hope yours won't be as emotional as mine was. Remember?
Demi: That was so upsetting what Nick did.
Selena: I know. Please don't remind me.
Demi: I know Joe really wants to meet his son, but sometimes it's hard to believe he will commit to this relationship.
Selena: Have you been questioning it again?
Demi: Yea. I know I shouldn't, but it's been bothering me again and I'm not sure what to do anymore.
