~May 11, 2015 – Nick and Selena’s house – nursery

Selena: *picks up Nathan, sits down on a rocking chair and feeds him formula* *phone rings, caller ID: Demi* Hey Dem, how’s it going?

Demi: It’s okay. I needed to ask for something.

Selena: Sure, what is it?

Demi: Do you still have that heating pad for your back? The pain sucks again and I can’t sit right anymore.

Selena: Yea. I still have it. But right now, I’m feeding Nathan, so you might have to come over if you want it.

Demi: Oh, never mind.

Selena: Damn, you’re really cranky.

Demi: You were the same months ago during your pregnancy.

Selena: Well, I’m not anymore. You’ll get over it soon, just lie down for a bit.

Demi: Fine. So how’s it been going for you?

Selena: Everything’s okay. Nick is at the recording studio with John and Garbo. He’s been pretty busy lately since his incident at the hospital.

Demi: I know. Sorry that happened for you.

Selena: I’m okay about it. Can I ask you for your opinion on something?

Demi: Go ahead.

Selena: Because of what happened, I’ve been thinking a lot about leaving LA.

Demi: Really? Why?

Selena: I just need a better place for Nathan and Natalya and for them to have a normal life. Do you think I should tell Nick?

Demi: If this is what you really want, then you should. But Sel, are you sure you want to leave LA?

Selena: This city is crazy enough and I can’t take it with the paparazzi trying to make it worse. I want my kids to grow up safe and have friends. And not fake celebrity friends; actual ones they meet at school.

Demi: You got me there. Where exactly are you planning on moving?

Selena: I’m going back to Dallas. I miss my family over there and Nick’s parents would also be nearby. Thing is, Nick is still holding a grudge against his dad after what happened at the hospital.

Demi: I had a feeling. Are you sure Dallas is such a good place for you guys to live?

Selena: Why not? At least there, we knew what went down and we know our way around the city. I just don’t know how I’m going to convince Nick that we should move.

Demi: Well, if you tell him what you told me, maybe it could work. You never know until you ask. Just see what his opinion is on moving to Dallas and maybe you’ll get your answer.

Selena: I’ll try. I just want to get out of LA before it corrupts the twins.

Demi: Oh nice, Sel. You really think that?

Selena: I truly believe that will happen the longer we stay here. You’ve seen what fame does to someone.

Demi: Alright. Good luck telling Nick.

Selena: Thanks. *hangs up*

Nathan: *coos*

Selena: What is it, my baby boy?

Nathan: Mah, mama.

Selena: Oh my God, Nathan. You said your first word.

Nathan: Mama.
