Nick’s POV

I can’t believe my dad right now. I get that I’m supposed to be prepared for today, but I just need time to get myself in check because I’m so afraid of going through with this wedding. I would rather just do what Joe did with Demi and elope with Selena. Make it easier on myself. But I know I have to just go on with it and have this one moment with her.

But then I remembered what she said earlier about Olivia crashing the wedding. I just pray to God that won’t happen. I don’t need her to take this away from me just like when she took Natalya away from me and Selena.

Soon the guys start getting dressed and are talking about what went down last night. Likely something I missed when I took Selena out of there to have my last night with her just as my fiancé and girlfriend. While they talk about drinking so much, I’m just sitting here thinking about Selena. She’s so amazing to me and I can’t imagine what life would be without her when I made love to her. I’m still feeling the scratch marks on me and that was so painful, but I was loving every second of it. I guess the ecstasy and the rush we both were feeling just overwhelmed us and I needed that so bad with Selena. No man wouldn’t want that with his wife on the day of their wedding.

I felt the phone buzz from someone having sent me a text. It was from Olivia.

I’m here, baby. I’m not giving up on you.

How the hell did she find me here in North Carolina? I made sure everyone had stayed quiet about the location so that Olivia couldn’t stop the wedding. I quickly texted security to have all areas of the estate checked for Olivia and to have hourly patrols around the ceremony hall and the outside grounds. I’m going to do anything to keep her away from me so that I can marry Selena.

Joe then starts looking around the room for something I’m not even aware of because I’m too distracted on the wedding and keeping Olivia out.

“Hey Nick, why are you still sitting there?” Joe says to me. He and Kevin are just looking down at me because I never wanted them to know about Olivia showing up today. Kevin says, “Nick, are you okay? Something on your mind?” This is new for me. Never once did Kevin ever ask me if something was wrong. He’d usually just lecture me on what I’ve done wrong. That’s what he’s been doing lately since Selena came back. “I’m fine, you guys. Just have a lot to think about. I mean, I am getting married today,” I tell them since they really don’t know what’s really on my mind.

Then I see Frankie sitting over by the window, looking somewhat upset. I walk over to him and pat him on his back, “Hey Frankie, are you okay?” He looks up at me with concern and for some reason looked past me towards Kevin, then back at me. “Yea, I’m fine Nick. I just remembered something that was really upsetting, so I’m not feeling the greatest. I really don’t want to talk about it either,” he says sadly.

I have no idea what’s wrong with Frankie, but I wouldn’t want him feeling this way. He then stands up and walks away from me and leaves the room with Kevin while Joe, John, and Garbo stayed with me. I see that Frankie left his phone on the window sill, so I picked it up and kept it in my pocket so I could give it to him later when he comes back.

All of the sudden, the guys started laughing about what happened last night with John and Mikey, Danielle’s younger brother. I wasn’t in the mood to hear about it, though they seem to really enjoy it. I keep hearing them talk about how John had challenged Mikey to start drinking so much champagne and he ended up very drunk, embarrassing Dani.

I quickly changed into my custom made jet-black Armani suit and took out Frankie’s phone. I knew it was wrong to be going through Frankie’s messages, but I saw that he had been texting with Maddie and they kept talking about someone he knew whose fiancé was cheating on him with his brother. Whoever this guy is, I feel bad for him that his wife is cheating on him with his brother. But how did Frankie get involved with that? Soon Maddie sends a message to the phone with something that doesn’t seem right to me.
