January 1, 2015 (New Year’s Day) Midnight – the nursery

Selena: *holding Natalya* Come on, Nattie. Please go to sleep.

Natalya: *coos*

Selena: What’s it going to take to get you to sleep and for me too, princesa?

Natalya: *sad whimper*

Selena: You miss your daddy, don’t you?

Natalya: *plays with Selena’s engagement ring*

Selena: I miss him, too. *sings softly* No, I don't wanna love

If it's not you

I don't wanna hear the wedding bells prove

Natalya: *snores softly*

Selena: Finally. *lays Natalya in her crib, walks out of the nursery, and into her bedroom* I miss you so much, Nick. I can’t do this without you.

~An hour later, Olivia arrives at her house and walks into the nursery

Olivia: That bastard thinks he can leave me, he’s got another thing coming if one of you little freaks are missing. *walks over to Nathan’s crib* I don’t think they’ll notice you.

Natalya: *softly cries*

Olivia: Damn it. *walks over to her crib* Would you shut up?

Natalya: *whimper*

Olivia: I guess you’re Nick’s precious baby girl. *picks up Natalya* Well, we’re going on a little trip, aren’t we, *reads her bracelet* “Natalya”? That’s adorable. Too bad your father is a terrible one and a terrible boyfriend and your mother is a pathetic slut.

Natalya: *lays her head on her shoulder*

Olivia: Don’t think that’s going to win me over. I know better than that. *leaves the nursery and the house, enters her car* Just stay close to me and let’s hope no one saw any of this. *drives out of the driveway and back to her apartment*

Natalya: *coos*

Olivia: Don’t worry. We’re not staying in LA for very long. I’m taking you back with me to New York. *lays her down in the bed* Just stay there and don’t fall. I’ll be right back. *walks out of the room, then returns 5 minutes later with her suitcases and a baby wrap carrier* I know the perfect way to get you out of here and without anyone knowing it’s you and me walking through LAX. *picks her up and places her in the baby wrap*

Natalya: *giggles*

Olivia: Why are you giggling? God, you’re just like your irritating mother. *walks out of the apartment, puts her suitcases in the car, and drives to LAX* Let’s just get this over with.

Speaker: Now boarding flight 459 non-stop to New York. Now boarding flight 459 non-stop to New York.

Olivia: And just on time. You better not cause me any trouble, you little brat.

Natalya: Mama?

Olivia: Aw, I bet that’s your first word. Too bad you won’t remember any of this. *walks inside the terminal, checks in for two passengers, and boards the plane with Natalya*
