After the almost ending of Nick and Selena, everyone was already hearing about it and it spread like wildfire.

When the Jonas family caught wind of it, they were disappointed. They didn’t want this to happen a fifth time for the young couple, but they couldn’t do anything about it since they still wanted to get married and continue on.

So when Kevin Sr. heard about it, he was furious and quickly wanted to stop the wedding. He saw Nick walk into the reception hall and immediately followed after him.

Kevin Sr.'s POV

“Nick, I need to talk to you again,” I ask him. It’s obvious that Nick knows how upset I am that he almost lost Selena again for her swift and arrogant decision. “I know you’re likely going to tell me about what happened again. I don’t want to hear it,” Nick tells me.

Whether I care or not for my son’s opinions, I want to make sure that what he’s doing is a fatal mistake to his life and his career. “I don’t give a damn. I’m so upset at you that I can’t stand what you’re doing. Look at what you have caused, Nick.”

This is why Nick knew it was a better idea to elope than rather go through with this wedding, so that he wouldn’t be fighting with his dad so often about marrying Selena.

“What the hell is that supposed to mean?” Nick questions me.

I say to Nick, “You know damn well what I’m telling you. This is becoming a nightmare that you are going to marry that girl…”

Once Nick heard what I had called Selena, he was getting really upset with me, “That girl is going to be my wife and I want you to get over it. God knows I did and I still love her. There is nothing that I wouldn’t do to always keep her in my life. Even if it means to keep you out of my life and away from us. I just want you to understand that she is my life now and you have no right to take that away from me. For once, leave me alone! I’ve had enough of you trying to pull me away from Selena.” His entire rant had taken all his energy just to prove me a point: that Nick wanted to marry Selena, regardless of her little affair with his brother, Kevin.

Once Nick had caught his breath, he walked away from me, out of the reception hall and headed straight towards the ceremony hall.

I had never gotten something like that, such as my son’s plea to ignore all the problems and to leave him alone with someone who was unfaithful, to hurt him so much. I only wanted what was best for Nick and I didn’t think that Selena was doing that for him. But she was giving him light and hope whenever she was available to him.

Walking out of the reception hall, going into the ceremony hall, I kept thinking about what Nick had told me.

If I had just looked past the mistakes that were happening, if they could work on it by themselves, I wouldn’t have to worry so much for Nick. I know that Nick is an adult and doesn’t always need me looking after him and his career. And for the girl he loves.

I have got to let that go and let Nick marry Selena.

Ricardo’s POV

I never thought of this day coming so quickly.

Where I would give my daughter away to someone that she loved. I would think that she would find someone nice, who treated her like how she would be.

Better it be Nick than Justin. God knows I couldn’t stand hearing about her and Justin getting back together and them breaking up. That is something my daughter doesn’t need in her life.

When Nick came back into her life, I didn’t think about what he had done to her, only what he could do for her. I know he is faithful and kind to people, but it’s hard to let Selena marry him when he can’t control his own life.
