Servent love Pt. 2

I wonder where Mavis is, she's been gone for a while. I look around the room so see if she's severing people, but I don't see that gold hair. Not knowing where she is makes me not care about this party, I never really cared for it anyway. After she left my room today in tears, I've been trying to find her, to see if she was okay, but I was stuck in my room getting ready.

"Ulter, may I talk to you in private?"

She nods her head, then leads me out of the room into the empty hallway. She leans into my chest, outlining my jaw line with her long cold finger. "What did you need to ask me?~" Her voice sound like she's in some mood or something, the ways her eyes look in the light, look like cat eyes stalking its pray. "Uhm..D-Do you know where Mavis is?" Her finger stops short just below my lower lip, her whole face clouds over with disgust and anger.

"Why do you care about her?"

"She's a friend of mine and I haven't seen her for awhile, I need to know if she's okay and not hurt somewhere."

"Zeref, you need to focus on reality, she's nothing, she's just a servant not a friend at all. So why don't you just give me the ring."

Nothing, did she really just say that Mavis was nothing. She's so much more then nothing, she's everything to me. Taking her hand off my face, it seems to be hurting her a little, she steps back and yanks her hand back. "What the hell is your problem."

"How dare you come into my home, insult my friends than say the one person that means so much to me is nothing. I wouldn't marry you if you were the last person on earth. Get out my way." Moving past her and hitting her shoulder harshly, I start looking all over for Mavis. I check her room, the kitchen, even my room, but still can't find her. Where would she be? I think of every possible place on where she likes to go. Oh, I know where she is.

In the center of the garden, there's a tiny bench just small enough for two people to sit and go unnoticed by everyone. Her and I would always go out there at night, to look at the stars and talk about whatever was on our mind. Going threw the whole maze, I was feeling that worry I had, slowly fade away. Seeing her on the bench, finally easies me fully, I walk over to her and take my seat. Her knees are brought up to her chest, her arms are resting on top, then her chin on top of that.

"The stars look brighter tonight, huh?"

"Looks like it, I think I can see the consolations better."

We don't look at each, on account that she's not choosing to look at me. It does hurt when she doesn't talk to me or even want to get near me, but I don't know why she's acting this way. "Mavis, is something wrong?" She shrugs her shoulders as she shakes her head no, "I'm okay, don't worry."

"How can I not worry, you just disappeared."

"I didn't mean to make you worry...I'm sorry."

I sigh when I see her hide her face again, I pull her into my chest and hug her tightly, I think if I don't keep her this close, she'll disappear again. "Zeref?" She looks up at me, the moon is hitting her eyes just right, they glow that lovely shade of green that I love. I suddenly get very nervous from the action I just done, I've never held her like this before and now that I am, I'm not sure what todo.

"Zeref, I need to tell you something.."

"What is it?"

"I can't stay here, I'm leaving."

I felt my heart sink to my stomach when I hear this, Why is she leaving? Did I do something? Did someone hurt her? "why are you saying this?"

Mavis's POV:

Zeref sounds so upset, I can hear that tone of his. I know I can't make him happy, and I can't stay here and watch him be married to her. " Zeref, please. Don't make this harder than it is." I push myself off of him and move away from him. I still feel his embrace linger on my body, I try to remember this feeling, when I'm alone and missing him. "Mavis, I don't want you to leave, I'd be so lost without you." I sniff back my tear when I hear him say this. I look over to him, he too is holding back tears. "Lost?, but you have Ultear."

"Why would I want her, I already have something that I want."

"What do you want?"

He pulls me back into his chest, but this time take my chin into his hands, his face is softer than ever and his hair is slightly messy. He gets closer to my face then lightly brushes his lips against my own, until he kisses me fully. I've always pictured how this moment would be, but now that it's really happening, I no longer have to dream. We pull away from each other and gasp a little from lack of air. "Have you answer now?" I smile at him, then laugh a little. "Yeah, I think I got it now."

"Mavis, you can't leave me, if you're leaving I'm coming with you."

"You can't do that, you have a duty."

"That doesn't matter anymore, you're more important."

He's willing to leave all of this behind for me...I can't have him do that. "Zeref, no I can't have yo do that for me. Ultear can give you so much more than I ever can." Once I hear myself say this, I cover my mouth and look down. I didn't want him to know the real reason why I was so upset, but it's to late now. He takes my hands off my face and places both his hands on my cheek.

"You give me so much more, no amount of money or land or whatever is nothing compared to what you have."

"You really mean that?"

Nodding his head, I leap onto him, wrapping my arms around his neck I do a happy cry into his neck. I finally have what I've always wanted right here in my arms, I never want to let it go or watch someone else try to take it from me."

"I love you.

"I love you too."

It's been a few months sense Zeref and I ran away together, we had to wait for the perfect time, once we left, we hid in a scalded area in the forest. The only people that know where we are is some of the other servants. They come to keep us posted on how the search is, I don't think the search will ever be called off, until he's found.

"Mavis, what are you thinking about?"

"I just keep thinking that we'll be found and we won't be together anymore."

"That's all in the past, we have other things to think about."

He comes up behind me and rest his hand on my stomach. He's right, we have something more important to think about. "You're right." I too place my hand on my stomach. " Why are you out of bed."

"Uh, I needed to walk around. You can't expect me to stay in bed all day for the next 6 months."

He takes my hand and drags me to the bedroom. He lays me on the bed then crawls next me, "Then we'll have to stay in bed together."

"Sounds like a wonderful plan."

I'm sorry if it felt rushed towards the end and that little epilogue was just a bunch of rambling, but I was really tired and I knew I needed to get this done.
