I woke up to my alarm buzzing, and a pounding head. I grabbed some Tylenol and headed downstairs.

School,I truly did hate it sometimes, but at least I would get to see Christian. I pulled on a pair of shorts that were light blue, and a pink tank. I threw my hair up in a long braid, too lazy to bother with the flatiron when it was humid. It was one of those last days in summer, and it was cold more often than not, today was one last opportunity to wear my summer clothes. I lined my eyes with a simple black eyeliner, and mascara, And I barely had time to put on blush, and grab my bag when Christian pulled up and honked the car horn.

"Hey," I said as I slipped in the car, and he pecked my cheek in response.

"What's up?" He asked me.

"Nothing much, just waiting for you to come," I said.

"Well, here I am." He said, and gestured his arms as far as the car would let him.

I giggled and lay back in the seat, closing my eyes for a few extra seconds of sleep.

"Tired?" He asked me, and I nodded in response. We pulled into the student parking lot and began our day together.

Lunch was all I could think about. That and when the new episode of Honey Boo Boo was airing. Christian and I walked to lunch together, as usual and sat next to each other.

"Hey gorgeous!" I yelled as Caroline came into view.

"Hey girl!" She said. She was wearing a pair of short shorts, and a low-cut tank-top, maybe a little too low for school.

"You do realize the guidance counselor will make you change if he sees you like that." I said to her. She pulled her shirt lower, and then pulled it back up.

"Nun!" She said, playfully.

"I'd rather be a nun than a prostitute!" I joked playfully back. We sat down with everybody else and enjoyed our lunch.

"Bryan! I'm home!" I said.

"Come here," He yelled back. Bryan was sitting on the couch, and he patted the seat next to me.

"What's up?" I asked him.

"Well, this isn't easy, and I really don't want to do this, but did dad ever talk to you about-"

"No! You are NOT giving me the talk! And, he did, by the way!" I yelled. I swore I heard him mutter "thank god" as he walked away. Man, would Caroline crack up at this.

"He did WHAT?!" Caroline yelled into the phone.

"Tried to give me THE TALK."

"Oh.My.God!" She screamed and cracked up.

"I'm bored, you wanna come over?" I asked her.

"Sure, and have I got a present for you!" She said and did her imitation of the evil laugh you hear in horror movies.I opened up the door to Caroline, and a very suspicious looking bag.

"We walked up to my room, because she instructed that no one else see what it was.

"Okay, you can open it now! I saw it the other day and thought of you!"

I sat on my bed and removed the folds of tissue paper and ribbons. In the bottom, I found a Honey Boo Boo t-shirt.

"You.Did.Not." I said, almost too shocked to believe it.

"Thank-you! I love it! But I thought they sold out.". She winked.

"Never question my ways.". I decided to take her advice.

It was the weekend, and Christian and I were heading for one last trip to the beach. He had a house up in Maine, and it would be just us two. For some reason, it turned out to be pretty hot in Maine, and as soon as we got there, we stretched our legs out. We had driven the whole way there.

When It was lunchtime, we raided the pantry for Doritos and soda, which they always had there. We got into our swimsuits, and I got to admire his toned chest. Caroline had made me go bikini shopping because everything was so cheap. I got a bunch of cute ones for next summer too. The one I was wearing was a strapless bandeau top that knotted in the front with a jewel, and had matching bottoms. He had on a pair of basic black trunks, but was rocking them like a sex god. We made sandcastles and splashed in the freezing cold water.

I walked in and sat on the sofa, grabbing a blanket as I went. Christian beat me to the seat, but gestured to come sit with him. It was cold, so I grabbed some towels and headed into the shower instead. My bag of toiletries was on the counter, and my favorite strawberry smelling shampoo and conditioner were there. After I had finished showering, I wrapped a towel around my body and walked into my room. Then my cell phone rang.

"Haven? Its dad, Bryan is in the hospital."
