Here he was, back in wolf. All his senses were back to full strength. They were stronger than when he last was in wolf form. It must have been the 'awakening' they talked about. It just felt so good to be back to who he is. All four paws, four legs, tall ears fixed upon his head, everything. Such power and energy was stored up inside him. He wanted to run. He hadn't been able to since he shifted into a human. Well, he did, but it wasn't a power run like he really wanted.

He looked around. The others looked like they wanted to run as well.

"Well, the two most painful shifts have passed. So now, when you shift, it will be a whole lot less painful." Talia said.

"Thats good to hear." Artos said. "So, is it normal to feel the urge to run?"

Hinto let out a little chuckle. "Yep. Its the wolfs power and energy thats stored up while your human. You can easily tap into that energy while your a human. This'll give you more speed, strength, or faster healing ability."

Ok. Now this was awesome. The energy he used as a human was only a tiny bit of energy compared to how much he felt stored up inside him at the moment.

His quick musings were quickly interrupted when Maria said. "Nose goes." Then everyone started poking everyone else with their nose. Artos had no idea what this meant so he didn't do it. But everyone ran off before he could ask.

Artos ran after Maria. She was fast. But Artos was faster. He quickly caught up to her. But right as he was about to pounce, she ducked around a tree. He wasn't sure, but it kinda looked like they were playing tag.

So, he played along. He turned around and went off to find the others. Maybe this was hide and go seek tag. If so, they weren't doing a very good job of hiding. He sniffed them out real fast like.

He never really played tag before, but he knew how to play it. He ran fast, but maybe a little too fast, for he slid into the wolf he ment to tag.

It was a strange wolf. Artos had never seen him before. If there was a strange wolf near the base, the Chosen should be out here to check it out. He held down the wolf and let out a howl. The strange wolf struggled to get free. Within a few minutes all of the Chosen were standing around Artos and this strange wolf. But in those few minutes, Artos and the strange wolf had a nice little conversation.

"Let me go!" The strange wolf said. He was a bit bigger than Artos, but looked the same age or so.

"What are you doing here? On my packs territory?"

"I didn't know I was on any specific territory. There was no marks."

"What is your business here? Where is your business?"

"I don't have to talk to you!"

Everyone was standing around Artos and this strange wolf.

"Artos. Let him up." Hinto said. Artos got up and joined the others. The scent of this wolf was different from the other wolves, pure wolf or otherwise. There was something about him that was off. But his scent.

"Whats your name son?" Hinto asked.

"Well, old wolf, you must have bad eyes. I'm not your son." The strange wolf said.

"You must not be from around here boy." Hinto began. "Around here, we respect our elders and those in authority. Now, your on my land, so you will answer all of my questions. What is your name?" Hinto looked at the new comers neck. It had no birthmark on it.

The strange wolf looked at Hinto. He thought a minute, then replied. "Дракон." (It reads Drakon in Russian. In English it is the word Dragon. But we will call him Drakon.)

"Well, Drakon, what is your business here?" Hinto asked.

Drakon hesitated. "I.. I don't know."

Talia walked up besides Hinto. "What do you mean, you don't know?"

"I mean that I don't know why or how I got here." He answered. "Where am I?"

"Your on my territory." Hinto said.

"Yes, but, which Alpha are you?"

"I am Hinto, Alpha of the Dark Moon Pack." Hinto answered. This wolf was rather large for his age.

"Dark Moon? I don't know that pack. Are you rogues?" He asked, standing on full alert.

"No." Hinto answered. "Are you?"

"No. I am Drakon, son of Alpha Zeta of the Masutā Pack." Drakon said.

Hinto had heard of this pack. He must test him. "What are you doing out of the veil?"

"Out of the veil? Where is your pack territory?" Drakon asked.

"Southern Ontario, Canada." Hinto said, looking into the wolfs eyes. The surprise in the new comers eyes were genuine.

"I shouldn't be here." Drakon said.

"How do we get you back into the veil?" Hinto knew there must be a way.

"You don't. I do." And with that, Drakon jumped over them and ran into the woods.

The others started to go after him, but Hinto stopped them. "Let him go. He doesn't belong here."

"He belongs in the veil, right?" Artos asked. He knew about the veil. It was only a small amount of information that he knew about the veil though.

"Yes." Talia said.

'Do you know what the veil is?' A voice said in his head. He replied no. 'I'll tell you about it later.' Okay.

They all went to run around and let off all that energy that was built up inside from their time as humans. They ran around for hours.

It was finally time to go and get some rest for the night. Artos was a bit tired, but thrilled to be back in his wolf form. It was relaxing. It was way simpler than being human.

Artos walked up to where Maria was laying down. He plopped down beside her. She moved her head to look at him. Maria smiled at him. Artos loved it when she smiled at him like that. It reminded him of his mothers smile.

"Maria?" He asked her.

"Yeah?"

"Do you know what the veil is?"

"A place where some wolves were hidden?"

"Yeah. Thats all I know about it as well."

"If that wolf came from the veil, then he must have been thrown out."

"What makes you say that?"

"I heard that its nearly impossible to open a portal to the veil."

"So, like, its in another... like.. dimension?"

"Something like that."

"Huh." This was strange. Was it supposed to be a secret? If so, then why was Talia gonna tell him about it? The more he thought about it, the more tired he became.

After a few minutes, he fell asleep.
