Yeah. Stuck at the cave. The door required Chosen blood for it to open. I would explain the science of it, but it is too deep for some individuals to understand.
There was a lot of dust build up in there. There was barely any light, no fresh air, no fresh water. Well, there is a small stream flowing through the cave, but you know what I mean. It was old and musty in there.
It took a month for to clean up in there. It was boring so I will spare you the details. About half way through the cleaning and restoration of the cave, the rogues were taken care of. That meant that Hinto's team moved in to looking for the next Chosen.
But its past the cleaning and stuff now, lets look at the present time, huh?
Artos ran out of the cave. He was so happy to be able to go do some other job. Over that last month he got closer to the pack. They all excepted him for who he is, not for what his father was. He ran up a fallen tree and jumped up off it and shifted. When he hit the ground he was fully shifted. By the way. That tree fell on another tree, making it like a large ramp.
He now had the chance to look for the next Chosen with Maria. He had been told that she was assigned to Alaska. What luck. She could see the place where he spent the first few months of his life. Yep. How exciting. She was still making her way to Alaska still at that moment.
He got permission to work his way there while searching for the next Chosen along the way. He had been given Canadian money and American money for if he stopped in any towns along the way. That was highly unlikely, he thought.
Sure the human world had wonderful things in it, but it wasn't for him. He needed to be out in the woods. Or just away from humans in general.
It took him about two weeks to get to Alaska from the new/old base. The journey up there was similar to the trip he and Rinty took before, but this time, he was alone. But when he got to Alaska, he quickly found Maria. She made it where he could find her easily, without attracting the attention of the rogues.
When he picked up her scent, he followed it quickly and quietly. He wanted to surprise her.
Luckily, she was traveling slow that day. It made it much easier and faster to find and catch up to her. He snucked up to where she was. It was close to a pack, but he didn't care. He hadn't seen her for like two or more months.
When he caught up to her she was taking a little break by a stream. He tried to mask his scent as he snuck up on her, but he didn't do a good job. When he was pretty close, he jumped and landed right next to her. He expected her to jump or screech or something. But she didn't. She did run after him though.
She was fast. He was faster. He kept looking behind himself while running. Thats when it hit him. Or he hit him. Not looking where you are going is dangerous, kids. Always look where your going.
Yep. He ran into another wolf. Artos looked up. The wolf was tall, mostly black but had quite a bit of grey in his fur, and didn't move when they collided. Maria skidded into Artos.
The wolf looked down at the two wolves in front of him. He didn't look too happy.
Now, they were big. He was just about as big as them. Practically the same size. But this wolf looked to have a bit more muscle.
"What are you two doing on my packs land?" The wolf asked.
Artos looked at Maria, then back to the wolf. "Uhhh. We weren't doing anything." He said.
Maria rolled her eyes at Artos, then looked at the wolf. "We're here on a mission, sir."
The wolf looked confused. "For who?" He asked.
