Forever And Always

Chapter 3

I entered the room with a huge smile on my face. Before I could get to my room, my mum stopped me and said "You look happy, how was your day?"
"Really nice mommy, really nice," I told her giving her a smile.
I walked past her and walked straight to my room. I was really happy, because of him. Honestly, my day was really good. We talked about things that we both liked and we got along very well.
I wish that we could be spending time more often, and besides he helped me yesterday. He's such a good guy. I was full so I didn't bother eating. I chatted a liitle bit with him.

NIALL:Thank you for today, I had a wonderful time.
I'm glad that he liked spending time with me. I replied.
ME:Thanks to you, I really
enjoyed.
I smile to myself and I see a text pop up on my phone
NIALL:We should do it more often then. What about tomorrow??

I contemplated about his question and without thinking I reply,
ME:Yes, I'd love to. At what time?
I don't what came over me and I wanted to spend time with him. Again. Another text popped up and it read,
NIALL:At around 11.00am,what do you say?
I don't even think about it before agreeing with him.
I feel my phone slipping slowly from my fingers, and I realise that I'm dozing off. I put my phone on the bedside table and sleep.

"Kaitlyn, wake up now!" I hear my mum shout. I wonder why she's so angry at me. I feel so tired and I wake up lazily and head to the lounge.
" Hi, dear, don't sleep anymore, or we'll miss our flight ", my dad tells me.
" Flight?! We're leaving today?"I ask obviously disappointed.
" Yes, our business trip just ended yesterday, so we'll leave today,"he explains.

It takes a moment to realise what he meant. Shit!! I won't see Niall! I must see him before I leave.
I quickly rush to the door and I dial Niall's number. It rings twice then he picks up. I tell him to come out of his room.

Just a moment later, he comes out and I'm astonished by his looks. His blonde hair is messy and his eyes a bit swollen from much sleeping. I almost laugh at this sight.

"So what's up Kaitlyn?" he asks his voice raspy from  sleeping.
" I'm sorry we can't hangout today, my parents and I are leaving today,"I tell him. I really feel bad because we won't be hanging out  again.
From the expression on his face, I could tell he is disappointed just like me. What he says next is even more disappointing.

" Oh my gosh, I really thought I could spend some more time with you, looks like I'm wrong."
I really feel bad, why couldn't my parents let us stay for a little while. But I know they couldn't change their mind.

" Niall, we'll just talk on the phone and maybe someday we'll see each other again."

"Yes Kaitlyn, I really hope so," he says holding my hand.
He steps close to me and pulls me in for a hug. I hug him back and then whispers in my ear "I will miss you a lot, hope to see you again."
I step back and I tell him that I'd miss him too.

Devastated, my mom was looking for me everywhere. I roll my eyes when she looks under my bed. What the hell, what reason would there be for me to hide under the bed?

"Mom, what are you looking for?" I ask her.
"I'm looking for you, I thought you're hiding,"she tells me.
" Why would I do that?"

"I thought for some reason you don't wanna leave ,"she says.
" Yes mom."
" What?" she asks obviously confused by my answer.
"Nothing mommy,"I say and leave for the bathroom.

The journey home was too tiring and all I could do was sleep and think about Niall.
