Chapter 26

I looked myself at the mirror satisfied with the reflection. Since I didn't know where my friend was taking me, I decided to wear just jeans. I find jeans more comfortable.
I took my phone and I saw a text from Niall . I had already given him my number again.

Niall :Are you ready?

I pick my phone and reply

Me :yes, I'm ready.

I went outside the dormitory and saw him approaching. He was wearing white sneakers, a dark jeans and a sweatshirt. He was so smart and I couldn't help but admire his wonderful gait. I could smell his cologne which smelt nice and I just want to hug him.
We hug and he tells me "Let's go."

I nod and he holds my hand until we are outside the gate.
He opens the car door for me and I couldn't help but admire him.
He is so nice and I had missed spending some time with him.
I sit down and he goes around to the driver's seat. After sitting down, he switches on the radio and Rockabye was playing.

"Do you know I missed you so much?Really much", he said.
Honestly, I missed him a lot too,each time I thought about the last time we had spent time together.
" I missed you a lot too ", I tell him.
He smiles widely and then pulls over. Outside, I could see a big building written only Records.

Records? What records?

" What is this place? ", I ask him.
He shrugs his shoulders and says
" You'll see, let's get inside. "

Once again, he opens my door and I get outside. We walk to the door and we entered into the house.
The house was huge and had other doors leading God knows where.
We came to a room which had a thick carpet and when I stepped on it, it felt very fluffy.
It was a studio. Is he a musician?
My thoughts are cut short by a shrill voice in another room.

Looks like there are other people here.

"Welcome to our studio Kaity ", he tells me. I sit down on an empty chair and he sits next to me.
Four boys come into the room. Among them, I recognised Harry, who is in my classes.

" Hello boys? This is Kaitlyn",Niall says.
"Kaitlyn, this is Louis. "He pointed to a boy with brownish hair and had blue eyes.
Louis comes forward and hugs me. The rest does the same.

After everyone had been introduced, Niall took his guitar and began singing.
I now knew their names.
" Let's try another one ", the guy by the name Zayn said.

He had dark hair and his eyes were hazel. They tried another song and then Louis said" Would you like to sing too? "he asks me suddenly.

I didn't want to. Other times, I would b jumping up and down singing and dancing but not today. " Oh, no. Maybe later. "

Later on, they'd finished singing and we got out of the studio. Harry and Zayn made coffee for us after much arguing.
" Your coffee is much better than mine", said Zayn.
"No yours is. Remember last time how mine was? ", Harry defended himself.

I couldn't help but laugh at them. It was so cute watching them argue. Finally, Liam got up and told them" You both will make the coffee. "
Reluctantly, they went to another door, which I guessed led to the kitchen.
We wait for a while, until we heard a voice. I already liked them a lot. And they were so funny.

" coffee! ", Zayn shouted.
They came in the lounge, Harry carrying the coffee kettle in his hands.
" This is for you pretty ", said Harry passing me my cup.
" Thanks ", I say.

I take a sip. The coffee was very sweet. I couldn't understand why they were arguing so much, if one of them could make coffee in such a manner.

Later on, the boys left and Niall and I were left. I looked at him and noticed he was looking at me too. I blushed and looked away.
" Are you okay? "
Since we came I didn't talk much, maybe it's because of new people. But no. I always talked even when there were strangers.
" I'm okay, Niall ", I laughed.

He comes close to me. So close. The distance was somehow disturbing.
" Um...Kaity, I've something to tell you ", he says.
He takes my hand in his and I feel relaxed. His hands are so soft.
" What do you wish to tell me? ", I ask innocently.
" You're such a great girl Kaity. You.. You have a big heart and I.. I just feel so.... "He trails off.

" What? "

" Kaitlyn, I love you. Ever since you went away, I missed you so much and now that I saw you again, I realised that I'm in love with you. "

He loves me?

Since I didn't have any boyfriend, I thought I would say yes but I didn't. I only took him as a friend but I hoped things would change. I knew he was a good guy and so kind.

Why not give it a try?

" I'll think about it ", I tell him.
He isn't disappointed like I thought he would. He comes closer again and he pulls me in for a hug.
" Oh Kaity, you've no idea. I love you so much. I'll take care of you. And you have all the time you need. "
" Okay, I'll give you an answer soon ", I tell him breaking the hug.
" I'll wait. And I hope it'll be a positive one. "

He laughs and I join in the laughter too. How I wish I could be spending all my time with him. Only that I couldn't. I knew I felt something for him. I didn't if it was love or what but I felt it. Eventually, I'd have to give in to him. Now that I knew he loved me, I knew I would finally love him back.

Who knows, he might be my dear future husband.
