Chapter 25

I was not happy at all when I found Selena in my class the following day. I though she enrolled in another school but how wrong I was. I just hoped she'd stop causing me trouble which was really unnecessary.
I quietly walked to my seat and as always, Justin came and sat with me. I hoped she didn't make a big deal out of it and just let it go.
"Justin, do you know if Jane is coming at all? ", I asked him.
He furrowed his eyebrows and said" How would I know, I don't talk to her. I mean, we're not that close. "

Niall entered the classroom and I couldn't help admire him. His oceanic blue eyes were looking straight at me and I almost blushed but I didn't. He sat at the seat in front of us and Jane joined him. I don't know but I felt bad and I wished it was me sitting with him. I tried to concentrate on my reading but I found out that I couldn't do it. I just leaned on my desk and I could feel Justin rubbing my back willing me to wake up. I was in no mood to talk to him. I wondered what had happened to me so suddenly.

"Stop it Justin, you're so
annoying ", I scolded him.
" You have to wake up. "
I woke up as I didn't want him bothering me. I narrowed my eyes at him." Are you happy now? "

" Very much partner. "

I scoffed and told him." Oh Justy, I'm no longer your partner. "

I laughed and he didn't say anything. His eyes were at the door. I followed his gaze and a familiar girl was walking in.

Selena catwalked to the class and took a seat besides Justin. I don't know when she went out again because she'd been in class at the corner of the room. Maybe she'd gone to redo her makeup.
She cleared her throat and said "um, Justin, you'll have to find me after classes."

I didn't know what that was all about but I didn't care as long as she didn't get in my way.
I wondered if the teacher was not coming at all.

Attention please!!! A voice said through the P.A system.

Lessons has been postponed until tomorrow due to unavoidable circumstances. All students are expected to behave themselves during this time. You are free to go wherever you want but students that stay in the school hostel should come back early before tomorrow. All the best.
Your principal, Mr Lockhart.

There were some cheers from the students. I made my way to the dormitory and noticed Niall behind me.
"Kaity, can I talk to you for a while? "

" Yeah, sure ", I said and waited for him.
We sat down on bench that was there.
" I'd like to take you somewhere today. That is if you don't mind ", he said. I couldn't say no and besides I had nothing to do the whole day.

I had learnt that he wasn't staying in the school and he had his own flat.
I missed spending time with him just like before although it was just a few hours which was long ago.
We parted ways and I went to the dormitory to get ready.
