Chapter 34

"Are you ready yet?" I ask impatiently as I watch Marilyn apply her make up.
She had been staring at the mirror for like twenty minutes and I was already getting bored.
I didn't want to attend this party, but Marilyn kept nagging me and I just couldn't say no.

" I'm coming, let's go. "

As we get out of the gate, I notice a car parked and a hand waving at us . Without wasting time, we got into the car and took our seats. Marilyn sat at the front with that guy, who I didn't know his name yet.

" Jenson meet my friend Kaitlyn, and Kaitlyn, meet Jenson . "
He nodded and said " Nice meeting you Kaitlyn. "

I nod and say " Nice meeting you too. "

He speeds down the road and I look out of the window. It's almost 8 pm and I'm feeling sleepy already. Wonder how the night would be like. I just wish I could be in my room sleeping.

" We're here! "Marilyn announces as she unbuckles her seatbelt. I do the same and try to figure out where we are. I'm not familiar with my surroundings. I get out and say " That was fast. "

" Yes, it isn't that far. "

Loud music is heard from outside the house. That is why I didn't want to accompany her. Different lights are lighting up the whole house, and makes it look like a club.
We make our way into the house, Jenson following us closely behind.

" Oh my God Darcy! It's you!It's been a long time. How're you?"Marilyn says hugging her friend tightly.
I assumed it's her friend from the way she hugged her and said it's been long.

The girl had long blonde hair with dark streaks and had grey eyes. She wore a very short dress which almost reached her thighs and high heels.

"Oh my God! Marilyn! "

They went on talking and talking and I was getting bored, so I sat on the couch next to the window. The house was huge and the kids were doing all sorts of things. Some were drinking, smoking and even dancing recklessly. I wished I would have brought Niall with me, and my time would be good there. I just arrived here and I was getting bored to death. I wondered how I would be like in two hours time.

There was a couple that was making out a little bit further from where I sat. I watched as the boy kissed the girl so hungrily.
It was a little bit darker there and maybe they thought no one would see them. Anyway it was a party and people did what they think best.

"You should get a room already!I can see what you're up to", said a familiar voice.
The owner of the voice then laughed loudly before turning away.

I saw him coming towards me as I saw his face clearly. Just as I had suspected him to be.

Justin.

"Why are you sitting here all alone? "He asks, sitting next to me.

I'm really glad he's here with me. Otherwise, I would be so bored and I could be going home. But still, I can't get what he told me out of my mind.
But I knew deep inside, Justin was a good guy. He has never done anything to hurt me and he has been so nice. Most importantly, he has been and is still my best friend.

Is he my best friend now? I don't know anymore.

But I still consider him as my best friend. I don't know about him. I know he takes me for a girlfriend, which is not the case. Haha should know by now that Niall is my boyfriend and I love only him.

"I'm waiting for my friend over there ", I say pointing to where my friend was.

He saw Marilyn with the other girl. They are now laughing so loudly. I guess they have a lot to catch up.

" Oh. I doubt if she will come at all. Look, they're going. "

I clench and unclench my fists as I think what to do with her. I bring her to the party and then she leaves me.

I'm going to kill her for this!

I turn to Justin and he's looking at me with furrowed eyebrows.
"Hey, calm down. I know you want to kill her right now. But not yet ", he says laughing. I laugh at his words knowing that's exactly what I want to do right now.

" I'm here with you. "

His words reminds me of what he told me the last time we were together. I don't know why but they did.
Now he is looking so intently at me and I didn't like it one bit. He pulls me closer to him and now his face is just a few inches away from mine. His forehead touches mine.

"What are you doing? "I ask him, in hopes that he will retreat.

He, however, does not do anything of the kind. Instead, he pulls me closer to him. Again.

"I love you dangerously Kaitlyn."

I don't say anything. I can't believe he is telling me this again. I thought he would just let go and find another girl.

I was so wrong.

He looks from my lips to my eyes and then to my lips again. He grabs my neck and before I can say anything, his lips come crashing down on mine.
