Chapter 37

My friends and I decided it was time for us to have some fun. We'd decided to go out shopping, our hair made, nails and have a massage if necessary.

Linda would be driving us all to the mall, so we got into her car and she drives off.
"I know We'll have so much fun, I really can't wait ", Terrie said smiling.
All of us agreed. Jane was just quiet and didn't seem to be too cheerful like the rest of us. When we laughed at something, she could force herself to do so. I decide to ask her the reason she is so out of it today.

" What's wrong Jane? "

Terrie and Linda faced us wondering what was bothering their friend.

" What? There's nothing wrong with me. Whatever gave you that idea? "She asked and busied herself by scrolling on her phone.

" Are you sure? "Linda asks.
She nods and goes back to her phone. I know my friend all too well and I definitely knew something was bothering her. We all continue talking, laughing and singing random songs that played on the radio.
Linda pulled over the parking lot and we all get out. We get inside the mall and begin looking at the clothes displayed.

"This looks so beautiful. I think I'm going to try it ", Terrie says, holding up a dress.
She enters into the trying area, and when she comes out, the dress actually looks so good on her. It hugs her curves perfectly and I'm pretty sure Harry would love to see her in it.

" You look so beautiful in it. I'm sure Harry will  collapse at the sight
of it",said Linda with a wink.
Everyone agrees saying the same thing. After paying for the dress, we exit the mall after each of us gets something. We decide to go to the cafe  which was just outside the mall.

"Who's paying? "Jane asks.
We look at each other, trying to recall who had paid the last time We'd gone out.
" It's my turn. "I say removing some money from my jeans pocket.

The waiter takes the money and leaves.
Linda stretched herself and sighed loudly.

" There's one last thing I need before we go home ", she says still stretching her hands.
We all look curiously at her wondering what she was up to.
" What is it? "Jane asks.

" I just need a nice massage. I feel so tired. That's all. "

We move to the right and we find the massage parlor. We get inside it and a young looking man who is maybe is in his late twenties, comes immediately.

" Hello, ladies. How can I help you?"

Linda clears her throat and say, "I need a massage."

The man who later introduced himself as Andrew, leads us to a waiting area. Linda is led to another room, where a female voice is heard talking.

Twenty minutes later, Linda comes out smiling.
"I'm done girls and I feel so relaxed now."

We pick our bags and head home.
