Chapter 11

"Mom please, I will be back early", I try to convince her.
"Okay then, be sure to arrive before midnight ", she says and I'm happy.
I run to my room and quickly get into the shower. I wash my long hair and used my nice smelling shampoo.

After getting out, I chose to wear dark ripped jeans, a white tank top and a jacket. I choose to wear my Vans.
After finishing, I texted Linda and told her I was ready.
Few minutes later, I heard a car honk in our driveway.
I hugged my mom and exited the door.

Meghan, Terrie and Jane were already in the car.
"Hello, girls? ", I say sitting beside Meghan.
They reply and Linda turns on the radio. We talked and laughed and also singing songs that played on the radio.

We arrived at Justin's house twenty minutes later. The house is packed with kids, drinking and laughing. I try to spot Justin since he's the owner of the party. I don't see him anywhere and my friends and I have to squeeze through the crowd to actually get a place.

Music plays and kids take partners and take their place on the dance floor. I go to the nearest table, and grab a drink. My friends follow suit except Jane.
She don't like getting drunk. After taking a sip, I spot Justin walking towards me. My friends are nowhere to be seen, I guess they have gotten themselves dancing partners.

"why are you here all alone? he asks.
"I don't have company ", I say and take another sip.
" Well, don't worry, I'll be your partner, but you already are ", he says smiling.
I feel great that Justin has come to keep me company. He then asks me to dance with him.I gladly accept and he takes me hand in his as we walk to the dance floor.
The music plays and everyone's showing their moves.

Just a kid, it's all the same
Growing up it doesn't change, who are they to try and put us down.
Had enough of what they say, sick and tired of all their games
So stand up and sing it with me now.

Justin holds my waist and I his chest and we begin moving in sync with the music.

So save me from who am supposed to be

I'll always be a part of the minority, I don't Wanna be another social casualty.

My feet is now aching but upon hearing the second song, my face lights up and I feel happy. Justin holds me closer to him now and he asks "are you enjoying the music?"
"Absolutely. "

We've got bit love/hate, you take me to the edge then you hit the brakes
I'll say it's over one day, Then I'm crawling back, begging you to stay
We make and we break up all the time.
I'll say that I hate a song, then you'll go request it the whole night long

I know how much I love this music and I could have no problem if it played the whole night.

Some people say it's so wrong but even when we fight girl you turn me on

When the song finishes, Justin goes to get us drinks. I stay on the high stool remembering how we danced. We could repeat that again.
I glance at the time and it's only 10.30. I've plenty of time.

I impatiently wait for him to bring the drinks. I realise that I haven't seen that girl Selena anywhere. Before I could even finish thinking about it, I see her standing in front of me holding a drink in her hands.

"so you chose not to listen to me, huh? ", she asks.
" What's wrong with you, Justin is only my friend, you can have him for all I care ", I say getting annoyed already.
" If that's so, would you care to explain why you were dancing with him with your filthy hands all over him? ", she shouts
" Leave me alone! It was only a dance ", I snap at her.

Next thing I know is her pouring the drink on me, and her laughing like a crazy person.
She leaves me there with wet hair and Jacket. I should kill this girl already. I'm currently trying to dry my hair with the napkins, but it's not working.
"Oh my God Kaity, what's happened? "
" It's that devil Selena! I really need to get home ", I tell him

I then begin telling him how it all started and how she's crazily in love with him.
He's obviously shocked at this and didn't expect it.
" That girl is crazy ", he says
" I'll stop her don't worry", he continues.

We walk to Justin's car and I really wanted to get home. I was such a mess and I needed my sleep.
We arrive at our place but Justin doesn't come in. Knowing how my mom is like, I wouldn't let him.

"You came so early, did you enjoy the party ", my dad asks me as soon as I enter through the door.
" Yes, very much, I need to sleep now ", I tell them hurrying upstairs and didn't even wait for their answer.
To be honest, I only enjoyed the dancing part only.

I hurried to the bathroom and washed myself in that hot water. My hair is now clean and I'm wrapping it in a towel. After its dry, I change into my pyjamas and a baggy t shirt. I slumped down on my bed and I slept.
