Forever And Always

Chapter 29

As I saw him approaching, I could feel something strange in my stomach. Like I was nervous or afraid even. I couldn't really know what is it that I felt.

That's weird.

I felt a bit nervous. Him being so close to me, aroused some feelings that I never thought existed before. Involuntarily, I envelop him in a hug, and for a second, he doesn't hug me back. I feel him letting out a sigh of relief.

Why?

After letting go, I could see he's still shocked and I couldn't tell why. I decide to ask him what has happened. Before I can say anything, he cups my face in his hands and say "Oh God, Kaity. I thought you were mad at me."
I almost laugh at him.

Why would I be mad at him?

I can see he's more relaxed now. We start walking slowly away from the classes.
"Why would I be mad at you, Niall? "I ask still wondering what his answer would be.
" You seemed to avoid me earlier. You couldn't even look at me. "he says quickly.
Earlier though, I couldn't bring myself looking at him in the eye let alone sit with him. I think it's because I was still adjusting to everything. So I ended up sitting with my friend Jane.
Before I can reply, Louis comes running towards us.

"Come on guys! Let's go. Didn't you hear the bell? "

I'm completely astounded as I didn't hear any bell. Niall seems to be thinking the same.
" Oh my God! I didn't hear it. "He says and we start following Louis to the next class.

I see Selena walking to the class as well. As if on cue, Niall holds my hand as we enter the class room.

I now hope she leaves me alone.

The lecturer does not take long. She enters the classroom  like a model. Her high heels are clanking the floor as she makes her way into the classroom. She's has a red lipstick and her hair is tied in a ponytail.

"Please remove your books and let's continue ", she says authoritatively.

We do as we are told and I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket. I remove it and hide it using my book. A text from Niall says

NIALL :I love your outfit. Looks good on you.

I try so hard not to smile but I end up smiling. Linda, who is sitting next to me asks me

"What are you smiling about?"
I still haven't told my friends about Niall and I, but I must tell them soon. Maybe after this lesson. I shrug and tell her "I'll tell you later."
She nods and says "You'd better."

I quickly type a reply to Niall

ME :Thanks a lot. Yours look good on you too.

After a while, my phone vibrated but I didn't bother looking at it. The teacher would have seen me since I was almost sitting at the front.

Looking at the other row, I could see Zayn looking at us. I decided not to make so much out of it. The teacher was now boring me a lot. I could see Zayn now stealing glances at Linda,more constantly.

What's that?
Maybe he likes her?

I definitely had to tell Linda that. I know she'll not believe me. But since I met him, he's proved that he is a nice guy and very funny too. I smile when I remember how they argued yesterday on who would make coffee.
I know they would make such a cute couple. I was already coming up with ship names and I actually have one. I'd have to tell her about it.
