Chapter 33

As soon as I got to the dorm, Marilyn was on me. She had been practically begging me to go for a party being hosted by one of her friend.
"Please Kaity, I need you to come with me. Please ", she says pouting.
Knowing that I hadn't done any of the projects given by the teacher, I didn't want to waste time going out. I didn't want trouble at all.

But a little fun couldn't hurt?

" Alright, we'll go then. "

She envelops me in a bone crushing hug before saying,
" Thank you! You're the best Kaity! "

I had to get my books from the class first,since I am planning on doing some work before we attend that crazy party.
I make my way to the class and find Justin about to exit the room. His face light up when he sees me.

"Hey Partner, you've been so busy lately? "

I roll my eyes when he calls me partner, though it's funny. I missed his crazy jokes.
" Oh hi, Justy, not so much ", I tell him.
I had missed him a lot. Of late, we had not been spending time like before which made me miss him even more. He was my friend and he was always funny.

" I miss you Kaity. Can we talk please? "He says coming close to me. I was beginning to get uncomfortable by this closeness.

" We're already talking J, what's up? "I ask hoping he would take a step back. He didn't.
I knew what he was about to say was serious.

I secretly hoped it's not about the girlfriend thing. I just wanted to have him as a friend but he wanted me more than a friend. Niall was now my boyfriend and I loved him a lot.

If only he can get that in his head.
" Why did you say no? I still love you Kaity."

Just as I had expected!

"Justin, I now have a boyfriend. Let's just be friends, Okay? "I said hoping he would not press the matter further,but I was wrong.

" I can treat you better than him, Kaity. "He says , now holding my hand.

He comes so close to me, his eyes staring down at mine. His eyes are a honey brown color with gold speckles in them. I had never noticed how his eyes are beautiful, but not as beautiful as.... You know.

Wow, I can't stop thinking about him.

"Please Justin, don't make this difficult. I want you as a friend. That's the best for us. Please. "

I try to put some sense into him. I didn't want him to keep thinking there could be a chance for him.

" Please Kaity, give me a chance. I will love you unconditionally. I'll show you what real love is. I love you Kaity. I'm begging you to give me a chance. I only need half a chance to prove to you how much you mean to me. "

He says still holding my hand. For a moment, I feel bad for him. His eyes are glistening.

Is he crying?

" Please Justin",I attempt again. "No, I love another man."

His face drops and he looks so disappointed. He stares down at the floor and I wish he couldn't be doing that. He then looks up to me with the saddest eyes ever and I feel so bad.

"Why are you doing this to me. I really mean what I'm saying. "
A tear drops from his eye. I almost wipe it off but I decide against it.

I have to make him understand once and for all. He cannot continue this madness.
" Please stop it Justin, will you?You know very well that I love you so very much, but only as a friend. "

He suddenly glares at me, his eyes becoming darker. I know he's very disappointed because I turned him down, but I can't do anything about it.

" Very well then, I will not give up on you. "He says storming out of the room.

Well, well, Justin is not ready to let go.
