"Eventually" they say, it will get better. You'll have your moment to shine. You'll be seen for who you really are and who you want to be. Bullshit. You go spout that nonsense. I used to let people make me think that it would just get better. But action is what it takes. You can't expect a change, when you are too inconsolable to take a chance. Take any scenario, take any dosage and give it all you got. Being terminal is being unwilling to ratify change, to amend your hindrances.
I'll never say, "don't let anyone get in your way", while your life is about you, everyone else's is about them. "It's a dog-eat-dog world". But why in the flying hell does it have to be? In school they teach you to look out for each other, to work as a team, but once you hop on over into the "real world", you better be prepared to have your heart broken and you dreams stolen by someone else who deserves it more. Stop building me up to accept failure and disappointment. Teach me to strive for not only myself, but others. We are all stuck in this abyss of contradictions.
You build your children up to fear the big bad life that they live. In a society that you are a part of. Instead of changing society for the sake of our beloved children, you change your children to fit into society. Why? Because it's less work? Why? When they've only prepared themselves to crash and burn?
