"No freaking way!" I gaped, staring at the massive mansion towering over me.

I blinked once, then twice.

I think I might've gotten the wrong house.

Neatly trimmed hedges surrounded the place making it looks fancier than it already was with a small fountain in the middle of the lawn with crystal clear water cascading down into the small marble pool below. I had to squint at the cream exterior as the sun shone and reflected light of the walls.

"Are you seeing this Gracie?" I whispered to the small grey kitten in my handbag that I held in my right hand, earning a quiet meow in return, while the rest of my heavy suitcases sat to the left on the floor beside me.

I began walking to the front door and with trembling hands I rung the doorbell.

It felt like hours waiting for the door to open but in fact it was mere seconds before the door was flung open and I was swept off my feet and twirled in the air.

Gracie let out a few scared meows, probably thinking that she was too young to die in there and as soon as I was put down she jumped out of my handbag with a few wobbly steps before stumbling into the house to sniff out the place.

I was pulled into tight bear hug and even through I was being deprived of oxygen I couldn't wipe the large grin that made its way onto my face.

"Noah... I can't... Breath" I managed to let out,

Despite my protests he didn't let go.

After another few seconds he loosened his grip on me.

"Alex! I haven't seen you in what? 5 years? Let me see that face of yours" He rushed out, holding my face in his hands and squishing my cheeks together so I look like a fish out of water.

"Noah! We Skyped like every week" I scolded through my squished face and swatted his hands away.

"But it's not the same!" He whined like the little kid I used to know,

"And besides it's not natural to not see your little sister in 5 whole years"

"Well who's the one who sent me away?" I retorted.
