40 | "I'm calling bullshit"

"So... How was your officially unofficial or unofficially official date with Megan?" I asked Noah after school as I greeted him by the front door.

"It's officially official," he told me and I squealed in delight, hugging Noah tightly.

"You're so weird" Noah said while peeling me off of him.

"Only because I love you!" I called to him as he headed up the stairs towards his room, I could faintly hear him chuckle.

Suddenly my phone rang in my pocket,

"He asked me out!" Mia squealed from the other end of the phone and I had to hold it away from my ear since it was too loud,

Apparently love was in the air.

"Hasn't Will already asked you out?" I pointed out,

"Yeah but we're going on our first date! Now get over here and help me with what to wear!"

Soon enough Noah let me borrow the Mercedes again and I drove over to Mia's house, when I rung the doorbell she grabbed my arm and dragged me up to her room.

Mia's house was pretty simple, there was not much around nothing they didn't need but enough to make it look like someone lived there. Mia's room on the other hand was a completely different story.

The walls were pink and covered in fairy lights; she had a single bed in the middle of the room, a closet and a dressing table.

Everywhere else was littered with clothes.

"It's not usually like this, I swear but I need to find the perfect outfit",

"Okay... Where is he taking you?"

"A candle light dinner at that fancy French place that no one can ever pronounce" Mia gushed,

That was sweet.

Then it dawned on me that Logan and I had never been on our first date yet and my mood instantly deflated.

"Wear something nice?" I offered and she rolled her eyes at me,

"You're no help".

Mia started pulling out more clothes out of her closet and I wondered if Narnia was back there by the number of outfits she pulled out.

"This?"

"No"

"This?"

"Nope"

"How about this?"

"No way"

"This?" Mia said holding up a pair of bright pink jeans,

"What?"

She flung the jeans at me.

I picked up a beautiful knee length white dress with a cute lace pattern at the sleeves,

"This?"

"That?"

"Go put it on!"

A few minutes later Mia came out in her dress and she looked absolutely stunning,

"Will isn't going to be able to resist you" I told her,

"Last time you said something like that, Chase kissed you" Mia raised her eyebrows at me,

"Don't dwell on the past Mia!" I smiled sheepishly.

Twenty minutes later Mia had finished putting on her makeup, doing her hair and we were out the door. I was dropping her to the restaurant.
