The Enemy of my Enemy

Chapter 10

A/N I am sorry for this VERY late chapter. I finally managed to fix my chapters and now I can continue writing. I'd also like to address a few things:

Shipping: I will most likely NOT be shipping characters. Then, I'd have to create a WHOLE NEW chapter just to have the characters meet, and it'd take away from the story... the whole point of this story is to show Ripple and Kai trying to work together. Yes, Bipple and Tovery will be in here at some points, but only subtly. The reason for that is because the ships are both real on DC. If I need to ship someone, i'd only do it if it were necessary.

Characters: If your character doesn't show up, it's because I have SO MANY and I'm unable to keep track of them. Later in the story, I'm gonna try to include a few characters from both Asila's Group and the Alliance. But for now, I'm sticking with the more main characters.

Night had fallen. The Team still sat in the Medical Wing. Toxy and Allie had fallen asleep while the others forced themselves to stay awake. 

"We need something small enough to get into the building..." Lucien suggested. Ripple turned his head. 

"But we don't have anyt-" Ripple stopped and looked down at his leg. The black and blue bracelet gleamed. 

"Plagg!" Ripple cried out and a bright flash of blue light filled the room. Plagg appeared in the center with a groggy and confused look. 

 "W-What?" he asked. 

"Perfect!" Alexander exclaimed. Toxy sat up in her bed and stared at Plagg with a wide eye. 

"What do you want?" Plagg asked. 

"We need your help in getting inside the Alliance's Building," Kai answered with a monotone voice. Plagg cocked his head and nodded slowly. Suddenly, a loud siren rang out. Ripple's ears flattened and he winced in pain at the loud noise. The lights in the room shut down and the darkness was illuminated by flashing red lights. 

"What the hell?" Ripple hissed. 

"What is this!!!!" Toxy rolled out of the bed and stood beside Avery and Allie who had both gotten up as well. Ripple looked up as a voice came over through the intercom. 

"All Organization Agents are needed in Level 2. There is a breach in Level 2. Unauthorized entry."

The voice repeated it multiple times before changing to Level 3 then Level 4. Level 4 was where Ripple and the others were. 

"Could it be the Alliance?" Alex asked. Ripple narrowed his eyes. 

"It probably is," he growled. Ripple pulled the door open and ran into the hallway with the others on his tail. They ran down the reddened corridors until they could hear explosions and crashes. The double doors ahead swung open and four ponies walk through. The doors closed with a whoosh. Ripple and the others blocked the other hallways off as the four stopped. One of the ponies was a tan female with short green hair and black eyes. Her wings were spread slightly and she stood behind another tan pony with long brown hair that ended with a braid. Her hair was streak with sunset-like colors. Beside her was a light gray pony with long purple hair and a black cloak with white embroidery. And lastly, another gray pony with long black hair that faded to red at the end. She had large dragon-like wings and her eyes glinted with a menacing fire. 

"Who are you?" Ripple asked with a low voice. The dragon-winged pony stepped forward. 

"I am Red Diamond, the one with the cloak is Nyxx, the sunset-haired is Lemon Bubbles and he small one is Jane Doe," she announced with a sly grin. 

"Those will be the last names you remember," Lemon Bubbles giggled. 

"We'll see about that!" Avery shouted as she charged forward. Her small body snaked through their group and she slammed into each of them with a force that was surprising for her side. Toxy and Lucien bolted after her. Toxy's pink sword appeared and she whirled it around before slamming the hilt of it against Nyxx's head. Ripple collided with Red Diamond and he threw his weight into her chest, sending her flying to the ground. She pulled herself back up and lunged at Ripple. Ripple hit the floor when she rammed into him. His chest tightened in pain and his breath was snatched away like a leaf in the wind... just more intense. The alarm blared through the hallway along with the scuffling and snarls of the fight. Ripple pulled himself up and found Kai pushing Red Diamond away. 

"Back off, you scum!" Kai spat and he slammed a knife into her. An explosion tore at Ripple's ears and he covered them. Smoke clouded the hall and Ripple spat. Suddenly, a loud shout and hollering came from the double doors. Ripple pushed his way through the smoke and saw Toxy and Pinkie being dragged out of the door. 

"Pinkie!!! Toxy!!!" Ripple shouted as he ran after them. Nyxx looked back with a smile before jumping from the window with Pinkie on her shoulder. Her cape streamed behind her wildly as she jumped. Behind her was Lemon Bubbles. The other Alliance Member followed close behind with Toxy. 

"Dammit!" Ripple snarled. His shoulders tightened and he pulled himself onto the window. 

"Kai! Allie! Lucien! Alex! And you too, Avery!" Ripple shouted. Ripple lunged out of the window and started to plummet. The wind rushed through his hair and he used his creation magic to make a large pillow at the base of the building. He landed in it and sunk into it. Ripple thrashed around and saw Kai, Alex, and Lucien above him. They landed beside him on the pillow. 

"After them!" Kai commanded as Ripple thrashed around in the pillow, trying to get out. Ripple willed the pillow to vanish and he rolled to his hooves and raced after the others. Overhead, Avery shot after the kidnappers. Ripple skidded to a halt when they vanished into a puff of purple smoke. 

"W-what?" Ripple cried. He fell to the ground and let out a furious howl. 

"We have to save them..." Ripple grit his teeth and raised his head. He stood up and moved forward, his eyes burning with a fiery rage. 

"I'm coming for you Pinkie... Toxy..." Ripple hissed.
