Sleepover (Ch. 12)

"What?"
He asked.

I quietly said
"Stay.. please?"

He sat down on the floor to get down on my level.

"Sure, if you really want me to"
He whispered with noticeable concern.

I smiled.
"Thanks.. and, could you also stay the night?"

I noticed the joy in his eyes when I asked that.

"Yes, yes of course!"

I looked down, not knowing what to do now.

He carefully laid his hands on mine.
"Should I.. uh, bring you to your bed? You seem tired"

I shook my head.
"I can still walk"

And I stood up and slowly walked to my bedroom, as every step hurt my head.

At which he had to chuckle.
"You still don't accept help do you?"

"Shut up" I scoffed.

But he walked up to me and helped me to bed anyways.
"Silver, you don't have to do everything on your own, i'm here"

I didn't say anything, even though he was being really cute.
He gently laid me on my bed.

"I hope you're comfortable. I'm just gonna message my mom that i'm sleeping at Crystal's and then sleep on your couch, okay?"

"Okay" I whispered, as I watched him walk away.
A few hours passed and my headache faded away, at least it doesn't go on all the time when it's dark. My weird eyecolor thing does though.

I heard the wind faintly blowing through my windows, and the rain was dropping on the roof like it wanted to get in with all the power it had,

I decided to walk to Gold.
He was really adorable, just laying there.. on the floor.
I giggled, he must've fallen off the couch and just continued sleeping.

I put his blanket over him so he didn't catch a cold. Not that I would care.

He seems a heavy sleeper.. I don't think he'll notice.
I dived under his blankets and laid against his back.
This feels amazing..
I carefully curled up against him, just for a few minutes.. he won't notice.

But of course I fell asleep. And surprisingly enough I didn't have nightmares. I dreamt about the good parts of my past, like playing soccer with Blue, and.. hanging out with Blue. And drawing alone in my room. Or reading.

When I finally woke up I felt Gold staring at my face.
He must be so shocked of how ugly I actually am.

He chuckled quietly when he noticed I was awake.
"Good morning beautiful. Did you sleep well?"

I immediately got up and threw the blanket all over his face.
"T-this didn't happen"
I stuttered, and went to make some breakfast.

But Gold walked to the kitchen nonetheless while rubbing his eyes.
"To be honest, I couldn't have wished for a better thing to wake up to"

"S-shut up, i'm warning you!"

To which he just giggled.
"Okay, okay"

I told him to sit down on the couch because I was gonna make breakfast.

"Hmm.."
He scratched his head.
"Are you feeling better?"

"Yes and you should put a shirt on"
I said and felt my face heating up as I realized that I was just sleeping against Gold's naked back.

He giggled.
"But you just told me to sit down"

But he did went to put his shirt on and after we ate something, he suggested that we could go to the beach, to which I quietly said
"I don't like the beach"

He smiled.
"We don't have to, let's just go to the park again"

I agreed with that and we went to walk there.
