Red and Blue (Ch. 13)

We were walking to the park, and it was really tempting to hold Silver's hand, but I didn't. I could already tell he was getting grumpy again.

''what's the point of walking here?'' He almost scoffed.

I smiled "spending time with eachother, that's the point"

"Silver.. Silver is that you?"
We heard someone say behind us and he turned around.

"Blue?" He asked with much disbelief.

Blue smiled widely.
"Silver! Long time no see, what's up? are you on a date?" He asked, while eyeing me, and I, on my turn, flushed red.

Blue's companion looked at him with a blank stare.
Blue giggled.
"Red, they behave exactly like us when we were younger, they're obviously dating"

Red just shook his head as I tried to hide my even redder face.

Silver looked at Blue.
"I don't like him"
which made him smile.
"Keep dreaming"

Silver seemed really annoyed by this guy.

Red talked.
"Shut up Blue, you're making him uncomfortable, he'll find out"

"But baby-" Blue whined and Red put his hand on his mouth.
"Sorry about him, he talks too much"

Blue said something around the lines of "like you ever talk" in a muffled voice, but Red ignored that and said:

"Nice to meet you guys, how long have you been a couple?" He said with genuine interest.

Which made Silver walk away in anger.

Blue eyed him.
"Oh my god, we're so sorry"

I shook my head in sadness.
"No don't worry, this is just how he behaves. He'll turn by in a few days.. or weeks"

Blue nod his head.
"Can we show you a nice place to ask Silver on a date to make up for this?"

But he didn't let me answer, he just dragged Red and me to somewhere.

It was a beautiful place, it had a little pond in the middle and a lot of flowers all around, the bird Pokémon were chirping really loud, and the grass was just high enough to make it romantic. It looked so perfect.

Red chuckled.
"Blue, this is were you proposed to me, shut up"

My face began to heat up.
"You're married?" I asked shyly.

"Yes, for almost two years" Blue said proudly.

I smiled.
"I'm so happy for you guys. But where are you from? How do you know Silver?"

Blue smiled.
"Kanto. Silver used to be one of my friends, I didn't really get to see him much though, but I believe that was because his father gave him house arrest all the time.
Sadly he disappeared a few months after he turned sixteen.

I was fixing my hat.
"Hm.. his father must've sucked badly"

Blue nod.
"Yeah, I remember him having a blue eye once.. his lip was also busted"

I looked down.
"I can't believe that, Silver's such a sweet guy"

"Indeed, it sucked to see him grow from a playful, careless kid to quiet, scared and clingy and finally to an emotionless rude boy" he sighed.

"I fell in love with the caring, loving and happy side of that emotionless rude boy" I giggled.

Red coo'ed "aawww, I knew you liked him"

We heard a faint voice.
"I'm sorry Blue, I was overreacting"

It was Silver, who awkwardly scratched his neck as he wasn't used to apologizing. So cute.

Blue laughed.
"It's okay kid"

Silver acted as if he was fixing his clothes.
"Uhm, I think you've talked to Gold while I was away.. yeah.."

Blue nod.
"Ha yeah, he's a fun kid. You should give him a chance"

I swear, I felt my face heating up again and I swear if i was blushing again-

"Yeah yeah he's okay"

Oh. Yeah. There was no denying that I was blushing now.

Red smiled.
"Hey you kids, what do you think of lunching together?"

Blue got confused.
"It's eleven AM"

To which Red got a little annoyed at.
"So?"

Blue smirked.
"Yes.. yes let's lunch together"

I giggled and carefully took Silver's hand, which he, of course, rejected. But he did smile at me a little.

"Okay, since we're almost a gay squad now, let's go!" Blue said and Red facepalmed.
"Shut up you cringy moron"
