Trancy

Chapter four

"Do you have any money?" She asked me.

"Yeah I have like fifty pounds or so in my wallet." I say pulling my wallet out of my pocket.

"Okay follow me." We sneak away from the manor and go to what looks like a town square bustling with people.

"We can see if there's a tailor here. Then we can get two maids outfits and wear them, go to the door of the manor, and say that we're looking for work." My eyes widen.

"Are you crazy?!" I practically shout.

"Do you want to speak to him or not?!" She replies. I sigh and nod.

"Fine."

We look around the crowded England streets until we see a shop at the end of a block called 'Victoria dresswear'. A young woman sits at the front of the shop. "Welcome, are you looking for something?" She says with a kind smile.

"Yes, a maids outfit. Were applying for a job."

"Who are you going to be working for?" She asks, looking through a rack of various dresses.

"The Earl Trancy." I say.

She widens her eyes.

"Well, be sure to be careful around him. He can be harmful." she says handing us two maids dresses.

"That'll be 30 dollars." I take out my wallet as hand her the cash.

"Thank you!" We say as we leave.

Now it's time to meet Alois.
