"I'm as singin' in the rain I told you," sang the tv as I walked down the stairs. Barry was on the couch as the musical was playing and I laughed quietly when he got up and began to sing and dance along with it. I watched for a minute, taking notice of Barry's perfectly synched moves.
"Didn't know you were much of a show boy, Allen." I spooked Barry and he whipped his head around. He lunged for the remote and paused the movie. He then stumbled and looked up at me. I walked down the steps and joined him in front of the couch.
     "How long were you-"
"Long enough to see the show you just put on. You never told me told me you dance! I've seen the singing at karaoke, but you've been holding black on me. You really are the man that can do anything."
"My mom and I used to watch it all the time. She told me: "Everything's better in song. When you speak, it's just words. But when you sing, you open up your soul and let who you really are shine through."
"That's deep...But so perfectly true. I love hearing male guys sing...One of my weaknesses. But it doesn't have the same effect three times in a row." I gave Barry a stern look and he got the point I was trying to make.
"Noted." Barry reached for the tv remote and clicked it off. I then sat down on the couch with Barry before my phone buzzed. I reached into my pants pocket, and grabbed my Rosegold IPhone 7. I looked at my notifications and saw that it was an "emergency" like text from HR. I read the text and spoke to Barry:
    "HR."
"Let's run," Barry said before we both sped out. When we got to the team, a breech was opened up in the speed lab.
   "BA...Someone's coming through!"
     "Could be Gypsy."
"Could be, or it could be-" Caitlin trailed off before a group of people came through. One was more recognizeable than the rest.
      "Supergirl?" Cisco asked.
"Kara! What happened to her?" I asked, rushing to her limp body. She was being held by her boyfriend, I could assume.
"We don't know, but whoever did it has come to this world." One of the men with her placed her down on the closest medical bed and Caitlin hooked her up immediately.
"Her vitals are low," Caitlin spoke as she looked at the screen. "How long has she been like this?"
     "A few hours."
"Okay, we need to find whoever did this to Kara and punch him repeatedly until he reverses whatever spell he put on her, and I get to punch him first."
"Who are you exactly?" I asked to the man leaning over Kara's bed.
"My name is Mon-El...I'm-I'm Kara's friend." I gave him a glance, and he changed his mind: "We're more more than friends...We've been kissing a lot."
"Oh, she never mentioned she had a boyfriend."
"It's a recent thing...Look, whatever's going on between me and Kara, I cannot leave her like this, okay? I need to get her back."
"We will, I promise," I said, placing a hand on his shoulder. "So what happened to her?"
"An alien prisoner escaped our custody...He did something to her, put her in some kind of a coma...And then he disappeared...We tracked him here and followed."
"Okay, but why would he come to this Earth?" Cisco asked.
"Well, we believe for you two," Kara's other friend said, motioning to Barry and I.
     "Why us?" I asked.
"We don't know...But his last words before he disappeared were about finding the fastest men alive...I'm assuming that means you as well. I know you're not a guy, but-"
"Clearly, we're talking about a breacher here...And if there's one thing I can do, it's find breachers," Cisco said, walking over to his computer, out of the room.
"What else can you tell us about this guy?" Caitlin asked.
"Not much..." Replied the other man, standing behind Mon-El. "It's like he just materialized out of thin air."
"You mean like this clown just did?" HR asked, pointing behind the crowd of our team. An unfamiliar face joined us, and HR wore a look of fear: "I'm gonna go," HR said as he darted out of the room.
     "Hello, Allens...Chloe and Barry..."
     "How do you-"
"Know your names?" The man laughed. "I know a lot of things...And I can do a lot of things too." Wally sped in the room and was suited up, ready to fight.
"BWhoa-ho-ho! Wally West made it here too! This is exciting! So good of you to join the party, Kid Flash...I'm happy to have you," said the breecher.
"What do you want with Supergirl?" I asked, stepping forward.
"Same thing that I want with both of you...To teach you all a lesson..." Kid Flash charged at the breecher, and the breacher dodged his attacks. The man dodged him and Wally went flying. "Is that all you got, Kid Flash? I mean, you look a little scared...And you're too slow," the breacher dodged Wally's final attack and sped over to Barry and I. Trying not to, we were forced to look dead into his eyes and became completely infatuated by the swirling taking place in the center. I tried to break free, but by then it was too late.
"Nighty-night, Flashes..." the breacher whispered before our eyes closed completely.
My eyes jerked open, and when I looked around, I noticed unfamiliar scenery. It looked like we were in some kind of old fashioned nightclub, and the weirder part was that I was dressed in a different outfit. Barry examined the surroundings as well and we were both puzzled:
"Bar, where are-" I tried to ask before Barry pointed to the stage. We both looked over to see Kara. She was in a long, golden dress, and singing along to a song Winn was playing for her on the piano.
"Moon river, wider than a mile,
I'm crossing you in style some day,
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker, Wherever you're going, I'm going your way...Two drifters, off to see the world, There's such a lot of world to see, We're after the same rainbow's end, waiting, round the bend..My Huckleberry Friend, Moon River, and me!" Kara sang. The piano stopped and the crowd applauded.
"What a singer, huh?" I asked. Barry nodded, and Kara came walking over to us after Boeing.
     "Barry? Chloe?" Kara asked.
      "Hey!"
"It's you, thank Rao! Oh, wait, it's really you, right?" Kara asked, patting our shoulders.
     "Yeah, it's us."
      "Good."
"What is--where the hell are we?" I asked. "What's going on?"
"I was hoping you could tell me or maybe explain to me why I just pulled an Audrey Hepburn and sang in a nightclub."
     "Maybe we're dreaming?" Barry asked.
     "The same dream? Yeah, that's--"
"What's the last thing you remember before you got here?" I asked Kara.
"I was at the DEO. They had just brought in an alien prisoner...He got loose, and it was really weird.
He had this, um, red--"
     "Pocket handkerchief?" I asked.
     "Yes!"
"I saw you on my Earth. You were in a coma. Your boyfriend brought you to us."
"He is not my boyfriend..." Kara said, defensively. "He he's just a boy...Who is not my friend...He's my nothing."
"Okay, well, whoever he is said that this guy whammied you, and then he escaped to my Earth, he showed up at S.T.A.R Labs. We tried to wake you up and--"
     "You got whammied."
     "Yeah...So where are we?"
"I don't know...I mean, it could be a parallel dimension, or maybe just some elaborate illusion."
"We just need to figure a way out...I guess I could click my heels together three times," I joked.
    "Yeah!"
"I was kidding. Reference to the "Wizard Of Oz. You're like a walking musical dictionary Bar, how did you-"
"Okay, all right, you two. We need to figure out what is going on."
"You're a great singer, by the way...Sorry, just had to get that out of there."
"Thank you. My sister says I put the 'Kara' in 'karaoke'." I laughed and we both looked over to a familiar man who had just stepped up to the counter. We rushed over to him and I patted him on the shoulder. He turned around and faced us:
"Merlyn!" I exclaimed. He gave me a puzzled look and hesitated before speaking:
      "Who's that?"
"You...Former head of the League of Assassins. Don't you-"
"The what of the what? What the hell you talking about, kid? My name's Cutter Moran, I own this club, and all three of you work for me."
"We what now?" We all asked in unison.
"I pay you to sing, not pepper me with questions... And I hope you got something better in your songbook than what you were belting out up there, blondie," Merlyn said before he walked towards the stage.
"Hey! Don't call me blondie!" Called Kara. He whipped out a knife and turned around.
"Hey, look, I don't know who you are, obviously you're someone who's quick with a knife," I said, putting my hands up.
"You have to excuse my friend," said Winn, jogging toward us from the piano and pulling Merlyn back. "He doesn't think before he talks."
"Yeah, I had a cousin like that.
I had to slit his throat too," said Merlyn before he closed his knife and continued walking on.
"Grady! Get these guys set up.
And nothing I've heard before.
I want something original," Merlyn yelled before disappearing backstage.
"That was..Odd..I'd really love to have my powers right about now. Anybody got any bright ideas?" I asked. A nod of Barry's head got my attention and we turned to Winn, who had joined our sides.
"Winn! Winn, you're here too?" Asked Kara, excitedly.
"Who's Winn? The name is Grady. I tickle the keys around here...Say, you realize how he got the nickname "Cutter," don't you?"
"No, but I'm assuming it wasn't pretty."
"Because he likes to cut people."
"I stand by my previous statement."
"You ask me, I think he's all talk," said Cisco, walking in with a wheely bin.
"Cisco not Cisco," Barry pointed out.
"I pray that, one day, you do not find out how very, very wrong you are, Pablo. Now go do your job."
"All right," Cisco said, lowering his head. "You see, Grady doesn't know this, but one day, I'm gonna be somebody...I'm gonna be somebody, and it's gonna happen right there on that stage. You'll see. I just need my one shot." Cisco wheeled away his bin and Winn turned on his heel and walked back to the piano.
"Is it just me, or are we all having déja vu?" I asked. I saw an imaginary lightbulb appear over Barry's head.
"It is...I've seen that movie a thousand times. Similar to Dorathy, we're--"
"Trapped...Boy, this reminds me of Teen Beach Movie."
      "R5 fangirl?" Barry asked.
"Used to be when I was younger. I had all their-"
"Guys. Don't you get it? All of these people from our real lives are playing characters in this...musical world."
     "Yeah, but we need to-"
"Well, you know what they say-" a voice thundered as the stage lights flared. It was a young, well dressed man. It took me a second to realize it was our captor. I tapped Barry and Kara's shoulders and they took notice. "The show must go on! Ah Supergirl, I loved your rendition of 'Moon River,' such a beautiful song...You were a little flat in places, but I'm willing to let it slide just because you're so cute." I jogged over to the stage and confronted the strange man. Barry and Kara ran after me and held me back.
"What did you do to us?" I asked, stepping foreword. Barry placed a hand on my back and I ignored it.
"Oh, nothing much. Just put a little...song in your heart. That's all." I scoffed.
    "Put a little--"
"Why did you bring us here?" Kara asked.
     "I didn't bring you anywhere.
We're inside your heads. You created this world. And we got lucky because it could have been a war movie or a a space opera, but thanks to your love of musicals, with the countless times you watched, "Wizard of Oz" with your adoptive parents-"
"How did you know that?" Kara asked, angrily.
"And, you, all those rainy nights watching Fred Astaire and Frank Sinatra with Mom," the man continued. Barry gritted his teeth and his eyes began to water at the remembrance of his mothers memory.
"Well, where else would we be?" The man asked. I became flustered and swung my arm at the man. He disappeared, similar to a hologram and came back looking the sameness if nothing happened.
"Ooh! Swing and a miss, partially my fault, I didn't tell you. I'm not really here...See, I'm out there in the real world. Central City's mine for the taking.
"We'll see about that. We're gonna stop you."
    "You're welcome to try that.
If you can get out of here."
"How do we get out of here?" I asked.
     "You're in a movie musical."
"So all you have to do is just follow the The Yellow Brick Road?" Kara asked, hopefully, but curious.
      "No, the the script."
      "Yeah, right."
"Script-Reach the end of the plot, and, presto chango, you get to go home...One little detail, though, I should mention...If you die in here, you die out there."
"Lovely...I've reached my limit with magical creeps."
"In the meantime, I hope you're all ready to get the rust off those pipes of yours," the man said, straightening himself out.
"We're not singing for you! Not anymore, I mean."
"Come on, now, maybe just one little--fun opening number just to--" the man said, circling around us. He began to take his jacket off.
     "Leave your jacket on."
"Kick things off!" The mystery man exclaimed. Grady began playing the piano. A group of people joined the ensemble. "Think of your fellow-" the man began to sing.
"It's not happening," I said, crossing my arms. He approached me.
     "Lend him a helping hand"
"It's not gonna work," Barry replied.
     "We're not singing!" Kara exclaimed.
"Put a little love in your heart" whispered the man of music in my ear before he lept upon the stage, where Winn began to play more intensively and sing:
"You see it's getting late-Oh, please don't hesitate-Put a little love in your heart," sang Winn as he played along to the music man's song.
"And the world," Cisco sang as he was wheeled into the scene.
"The world --Will be a better place - And the world , The world Will be a better place, For you And me." Cisco joined Winn and the music man at the piano. Kara, Barry, and I all stood in shock and watched the scene going on infront of us. I could feel temptation coming from all of us, but we tried our hardest to keep it up. We didn't want to get sucked in.
"You just wait And see," Winn belted. Another crowd of employees appeared and they all began to join the ensemble, dancing to the music that was being performed.
"Yeah, if you want the world to know, We won't let hatred grow, Put a little love in your heart," Merlyn sang from the bar. He was dancing with two women. We had moved infront of the stage, due to the dancing and the music man began to sing again.
"And the world," the music man began to sing. He jumped inbetween Barry, Kara, and I, and Kara jumped in fear. She shrieked as he landed inbetween us, scaring her. She clenched her chest and I giggled. "Will be a better place And the world Will be a better place - For you-"
    "For you."
    "And me-"
     "And me."
     "You just wait."
     "And see."
"You better take a good look around, Oh, if you're looking down,  Put a little love in your heart," sang "And the world Will be a better place," sang Cisco.
"All the world Will be a better place," sang Merlyn.
    "For you."
     "For you."
     "And me."
"You just wait and see," they all began to sing. I looked over at Barry, who had been doing some of the moves in place, and I slapped his chest. "Put a little love in your heart....Put a little love In your heart..." At that moment, all the dancers and ensemble left, along with our music man. The song had finished and we were all blown away by what just happened.
"Where'd he go?" Kara asked, taking note of the missing man.
      "I don't know..." I replied.
"Come on, let's find him," Barry suggested before we all nodded and we walked into one of the back rooms.
     "He's gone."
     "Yup."
"So what do we do now?" Barry asked.
     "I don't know," I said, shrugging.
"I mean, I guess we just we do what he says, right? We have to figure out what the plot of the musical is, and we follow the story."
"Okay, uh, so what do we know so far? We're singers...And apparently we work for a gangster who wants us to perform for him.
I mean, honestly, it's pretty straightforward...Right?" Barry asked.
"Yeah." In the blink of an eye, a crowd had burst through the door and had pointed guns at us.
"Hello," one man replied, pressing a gun to my back.
"I miss being bulletproof," Kara said under her breath.
"You're coming with us," said another.
     "Says who?" Kara asked.
"Says me," a man resembling Joe said before we were hit over the head with the barrel of a gun.
"Barry, are you okay?" I asked as I sat up from the floor we found ourselves on. Barry sat up and scratched his head.
"No, no it's okay. Kara's alright...Thanks for asking," she said as she stood up and dusted off her dress.
"Oh, please stop yelling," Barry said, rubbing his temples.
    "Im not yelling."
"...Wait, where are we?" Barry asked, studying our surroundings carefully.
"I don't know...But I'm sure everyone at S.T.A.R Labs is working on getting us out."
"I'm glad they brought me to all you smarticles."
"Me too...Mon-El seems like he really cares about you," I said to Kara. Her eyebrows furrowed and she crossed her arms.
"Mon-El only cares about himself...He lied to me about who he really is--for nine months...I can't shake it. I thought it was gonna be something special like what you have with Barry."
"Our love is special," Barry said, wrapping a hand around my waist.
"Everything's so simple when I'm flying."
     "Or running-"
"Shut up! All of you," A man interrupted. He entered the mysterious room, taking the place of Martin Stein.
    "Stein?" We all asked.
"Who--who's Stein?" Stein asked, full of confusion.
"Right...Forgot you were-" I spoke before the door slammed and another person came into the scene.
"This them?" Joe asked, throwing his bag down and looking up at us three.
"Yeah," Stein replied with the nod of his head.
"Do you know who I am?" He asked. We froze.
"Not Joe West, I'm guessing," I mumbled.
     "Digsy...Digsy Foss...I run this town."
"So you're the mayor?" Barry asked. Digsy chuckled and took off his hat.
"The mayor may have gotten the vote, but I got the power...
I got a situation that you all are gonna help me with." He took a gun out of his bag and slid it into his pocket.
"We would love to help you with it!" I exclaimed, trying to keep my mind off the fact that he had a loaded gun in his pocket.
"Really love to," said Barry before Digsy spoke again.
"My daughter, Millie, she's missing...Last she was seen, she was heading into Cutter Moran's place...Have you seen her in there?"
     "I didn't see her."
      "Neither did I."
"She's the only thing that is good and decent about my life.
If anything happened to her, this town will run red with blood...
Starting with yours...We wouldn't want that, now, right?" Digsy asked. We all nodded quickly.
"So, um, how can we help you?" I asked, nervously.
"You two sing for Cutter...You could poke around and see if you can find her."
    "Sure..Anything for you."
"So are you gonna do this for me?" Digsy asked. I turned to my team.
     "What do we do?"
      "Follow the script."
"Hey," Stein yelled. We shot up from our little mini circle and finished the conversation.
"We're gonna find her, sir..." Kara replied.
"Good." Digsy exited and we shuffled out of the warehouse. Making our way around town, we finally found the place we were supposed to be. It took some digging, but we found the place.
"This is the place...Apartment 4B...The place where-"
"We can find Iris?" Kara asked.
"Millie." I walked up to the door and placed my ear close to the door. I heard chuckling and giggling coming from inside the room. I recognized that giggling. That's the giggling of...people in love. I immediately smiled at the thought of Barry and I, but then realized where we were and what we were after. I quickly snapped out of it and reported to my friends. "Yeah, she's in there, all right...And though she looks like Iris, remember this isn't her."
"I'm glad we haven't seen someone that looks like Mon-El," Kara scoffed. "I'd probably just punch him in the face for the fun of it."
"Here we go," I said, jiggling the doorknob. Unable to phase, I used my CCPD skills and busted the door down. We walked into what looked like Iris and Mon-El having a serious make out session on the couch. We all covered our eyes and screamed.
"Never will I ever be able to get that out of my head!" I yelled, shaking my head. By the time I uncovered my eyes, both Millie and Mon-El had somewhat covered up.
"What the hell is going on?" Barry asked. "I want answers, now!" Millie and Mon-El shared a glance before looking back up at Barry.
"All right, you caught us...We're in love."
     "I know the feeling..."
"Say, I've never seen you before...What are your names?"
     "I'm Kara...This is Barry...And-"
"I'm Chloe...We're singers at your dad's nightclub," I said to Tommy. "Speaking of which, Millie, your dad thinks you've been kidnapped."
      "Well, clearly he's mistaken."
"He really wants you to come home."
"Listen, I am never going back there."
"Why not?" I asked. "There's no place like home."
"Tommy Moran is my home," she said, placing a hand on Mon-El's chest. "And besides, if our geezers ever caught wind of this, they'd go to war...It'd be the end of more than just us, huh?" He asked Millie.
"Yeah, Tommy's right...Our fathers hate each other. Our love is forbidden."
"This is just like "West Side Story," I said, rolling my eyes and face palming.
"I was thinking more "Fantasticks," but Look, the point is we ain't telling nobody nothing.
And neither are you, got it?" Tommy asked.
"Yeah," we replied. At that moment, I had a good idea, so I tried to tell Kara and Barry.
"-Can you give us a second?" I asked the couple.
  "Sure," Millie replied.
"I'm only going in the corner, so please no more of...that. You're too young in love for children," I said, grabbing Barry and Kara's arms and telling them my plan.
"Okay, look, he says we need to follow the script...So I think if we convince them to tell their fathers that they're in love, maybe that'll get us out of here."
"And back home to being single, yay!" Kara exclaimed. "Why can't I find happiness like you two?" Before further discussion, I cleared my throat and proceeded with my plan.
"Okay, so look your fathers aren't perfect, right? Love isn't perfect..."
"But you can't let your love for somebody cause you to be afraid of what might happen.
You gotta take the good with the bad, no matter what," Barry finished. Wondering where those feelings came from, I continued.
"Right...And that includes telling your fathers how you two feel about each other."
"All right, you make a convincing argument...We'll do it." I smiled and looked over at Barry.
"You will! Gee that was ea-"
"Nice of you to agree with us," I said, smiling at Barry, secretly letting him know to watch the way he talks to them. He got the hint and backed off.
"Let's get going then!" I exclaimed before we gave the couple some time to get dressed before we walked back to the familiar warehouse.
"Digsy! She's back!" Stein exclaimed as we entered the warehouse. Digsy took Millie into his arms and hugged her tightly.
      "Thank God you're safe."
"Oh, of course I'm safe. Barry and Kara told me that you sent them to find me."
    "We were concerned."
"Dads, there's no reason to be concerned, I was just with-"
"Dads?" Barry and I both asked, shockingly.
"You got a problem with that?" Digsy asked. Stein turned towards us and sent us a death glare.
   "No...Ofcourse not."
"Look, Dads, there's something that I need to tell you..." Millie said, playing with her hands.
     "Mm-hmm," Joe nudged.
"I'm in love!" Millie exclaimed, throwing her hands in the air and spinning around.
"Who is the, uh the lucky boy?" Stein asked.
"Umm...Tommy Moran..." Millie spoke before her dad's look of relaxation turned to anger and frustration.
"You you mean Cutter Moran's kid?"
    "Dad, look, we're in love."
"The hell you are! He's a hooligan! His father's a hooligan."
      "His mother is--"
"Hey! Not in front of the girl-" Stein interrupted. "And you're not loving that boy." Both Digsy and Stein turned around to finish their work at the table. Millie began to tear up and sob infront of us. I walked over and tried comforting her, but she continued to get upset. Eventually, Barry stepped forward and spoke:
"No matter how scared she was to tell you, no matter how dangerous it is to be with him, all that matters is, they're together.
And when you find a love like that, well you gotta hold on to it.
No matter who's trying to stop you.
That's clear to me now...Excuse me men, but I think you're being a little too hard on your daughter."
"Excuse me? What would you know about parenting?"
"Not much, but I know enough. Enough to understand and identify true love when I see it." At that moment, Cutter and Tommy burst through the door.
"Did you know about them?" Cutter asked. "Behind our backs, all this time...Why?" Cutter asked, angrily.
"Well, it's obvious why he didn't tell you right away...I mean, look at the way you're reacting.
Maybe if you just listen and hear their reasons and try to see things from their point of views, maybe---maybe you'd understand why they didn't tell you before now."
"Baby doll, it's just you'll never understand what it means to be a father," Stein said, placing a hand on Millie's shoulder.
"Millie, my darling, we've always taken care of you...We just want you to be happy." Digsy and Stein began to him and old song to Millie, and they engulfed her in a hug. Millie joined in, and was smiling happily when the song was over.
"Thanks for telling us the truth, Baby," Digsy spoke after the song had been sung. They broke the hug and Millie joined back at my side.
"I love you both so much," said Millie.
"We love you too," both Digsy and Stein said before hugging.
"So now what?" I asked. All seemed well, and I assumed it was close enough where we could go home. Still getting no reply, I asked again. "So what do you want to do?" I asked. Digsy placed a hand to his chin and stood in thought for a moment before continuing.
"Gather up the boys, We're going to war," Digsy pulled out the pistol from his pocket and cocked it.
"Woah, woah, woah...This is a happy moment....Why all the-"
"I told you, we are enemies. Now, get out of here before I get rough," Digsy said before we scurried out and back to the nightclub. Cutter and Tommy exited before us.
"What do we do now? We got we got Millie and Tommy to tell their fathers that they're in love...Nothing is happening. We're still here."
"Which, I know we're in a musical and everything, but seeing Mon-El in love with someone else was-"
"Hard to watch?" I asked. Kara nodded and I spoke:
"I'm out of ideas...I guess we have to finish it. That's what the Music Meister told us before-"
"Uh Ah, there you are!" Winn exclaimed as he pushed us toward the stage.
"You guys ready? We have rehearsal now. Mr. Moran told me that you got more songs in your repertoire...Uh, do you do you happen to know anything original?" Winn asked us.
"As a matter of fact, I've been working on something all day," I replied. I took off my shawl and revealed my bare arms in my long black gown. I then walked backstage and laced up a pair of tap shoes. When I was all ready, I peeled back the curtain and stood center stage. I motioned for my friends to join me, and they did. I told Winn to play along, and proceeded with my number.
"At times like these--When life is getting me down, And the world seems like it's gonna end-ship--There's at least one power--That we both still have And that's the power of-"
"Friendship?" Kara asked, joining me onstage. Barry followed, and they both copied my moves.
"Yeah, that's exactly what I was gonna say..."
"Yeah, it's an easy rhyme," said Kara.
"I'm your super friend," we all sang, tap dancing on the stage.
      "Your super friend"
"I'll be there in the nick of time"
"If you're ever in a spot, And if you're not there in time, You can just go back in time, And give it another shot-" Kara sang before I stopped her.
"We're actually not supposed to do that anymore."
   "Oh, okay...."
"Sing! I'm your super friend Super friend!"
"When you need a compliment I can rattle off a dozen..For instance, I have to say, I'm not impressed By your more famous cousin" Barry sang.
"Thank you! No one ever says that!"
"Oh, he's all, like, "I'm Superman," Barry impersonated. We all laughed.
"That's a really good impression!" Kara spoke before singing. We all sang in unison:
"I'm your super friend, Super friend"
"When it comes to buddies, pals, you're the best"
"I love you more than the lightning bolt I wear on my chest" Barry sang, looking at me.
"If you're ever sad, I'll bring you flowers"
"And you can list soprano as one of your powers"
"If you're ever broke--I've got the cash"
"On my couch --You're welcome to crash-And if you ever need a hand I'll be there in a flash"
"Barry!" Kara and I both said in unison.
"What?" That was funny." Barry chuckled and we continued to finish our song.
"I'm your super--That has a double meaning, Friend" we finished. The crowd cheered and applauded, but we were interrupted by the confrontation that occurred after our song had ended.
"Hello, my friend...It will be a cold day in hell before our daughter marries any son of yours," Digsy said, walking into Cutter Moran's club. Cutter came in from one of the back rooms and joined him.
"Like he said...A cold, cold day...You took the words right out of my mouth." Gunshots were heard, and that's when I felt an arm grab mine and I was dragged out of the club. Though Barry, Kara, and I managed to get out of the club, the trouble came to us. Men followed us outside and began to shoot. We tried to hide behind the cars that had been lined up on the other end of the street.
"Come on!" Barry yelled, as the gunshots got louder and closer. The men had now been close enough to shoot and hit. First Kara, than Barry, then me. We all fell to the ground in pain, hoping that a miracle was going to occur. I was pulled away from Barry and proceeded to speak with every ounce of breath I had in me.
"Bar?" I asked. I tried crawling over to him, but the pain was unbearable. With my babies in my head, I stayed strong in hopes that they'd be alright. I managed to commando crawl my way to him.
      "Chloe, what-"
"Look, I want you to know that whatever happens...I love you," I said before placing a kiss on his lips. It was in that second that we were taken away from it all. It took a few seconds to readjust, but I eventually was able to see familiar surroundings, the lab and my team. My initial reaction was panic, but I looked down at my chest and saw no bullet hole. I and taus notice of all the machines we were hooked up to.
"They're back! Bravo! Round of applause! Standing O!" HR exclaimed as we sat up in our beds.
"That was so good! I loved it.
That was a hell of a show..." Says a voice from the back of the room. "And you two, I guess your love really was strong enough after all," Music Meister spoke to Barry and I. The team stood in a defense like position,
     "What?" I asked.
"That's what this whole thing was about. Showing you that your love is stronger than anything."
"Man, how did you get out of the cell?" Cisco asked.
"Cisco, do you really think that cell is gonna just, like, hold me? Besides, I wouldn't have gotten to do what I did. I wanted teach all of you a lesson. I see everything, and I saw two people with two broken hearts. One confused about the future, and one confused about their partner. So the lesson was Love, Supergirl. Love is about letting yourself be saved. It's not just about saving other people...Even if you are superheroes. And Allen, your lesson was that your love is worth holding onto, even if you know where fate takes you. Anyway, I'm sorry that I had to, like, mess with you a little bit. I was just trying to get you to play the game, do the song and dance."
"Are you from another Earth-multi-verse-universe? something?" Cisco asked.
"Yeah, you you wouldn't even understand where I come from," Music Meister said before a breech appeared.
"Wait, I'm sorry, that's it? You're just gonna teach somebody else a lesson?" I asked as he put one foot into the breech.
"Yeah, that's exactly what I'm gonna do...'Think of your fellow man, Lend him a helping hand, Put a little love in your heart,'" he sang before he completely disappeared in the portal.
"Wait, so, let me get this straight...You got whammied by some guy named Music Meister.
Damn, Barry, I'd have paid good money to see you singing and dancing."
     "No," Barry replied.
"Well, he's holding out on you because Barry has an amazing voice," I spoke. No one spoke, but instead, just looked at me. "He does! I've actually seen him sing. Not just karaoke."
"What? You have? How have we not made a GIF of that?"
"Well, technically, I'm not even the only one here who can sing,"
     "Thank you, BA," said HR.
"What? I was talking about Kara and Chloe."
"Ofcourse she can sing...Her name is Supergirl...It's kind of implied, right?" I asked. Kara chucked before leaning in for a hug.
"Well, we better be getting going...I promised Kara's sister we'd get her back in one piece,"  said Mon-El. "We couldn't have done this without you...Thank you."
"Thank you," I replied. A portal appeared and the three stepped inside, and disappeared.
"I think all this singing has sucked the energy out of me, but it is good to have my powers back!" I said to Barry as I walked into the cortex.
"We better head home. We've had a long day. See you tomorrow?" Barry asked Cisco, who was tying at his computer.
"We'll be here," Cisco said before giving Barry a fist bump. I said goodbye to Caitlin before leaving for home.
I walked in the door and it was if I had never been gone. I threw myself onto the couch and took in the scenery and sounds that was Barry and I's shared house. I then took out my phone, remembering the work that had to be done. Thinking Barry was changing, I continued working. A few minutes later, Barry emerged. He walked down the stairs slowly, phone in hand, and had been humming to the instrumental his phone was been playing. A few measures later, he added words:
"Can't say how the days will unfold, Can't change what the future may hold. But, I want you in it, Every hour, every minute," Barry sang while walking over to me. He put his hand out and I gladly accepted it. I was moved from the couch and was wrapped up in his arms as we rocked back and forth slowly, him still continuing to sing. "This world can race by far too fast.
Hard to see while it's all flying past.
But, it's clear now,
When you're standing here now.
I am meant to be wherever you are, next to me," I teared up at the thought of all our memories together, and the fact that it ends so soon. I had all I ever wanted, and it killed me to know that it ends so abruptly...Especially the fact that I leave Barry in so much pain. A tear rolled down my cheek and I began to sniffle. Barry looked down at me and wiped it with his thumb, still singing. It was the look in his eyes and his magical voice that put all those thoughts aside. "This is time I'll never get back," I thought to myself. All I want to do,
Is come runnin' home to you,
Come runnin' home to you.
And all my life I promise to,
Keep runnin' home to you,
Keep runnin' home, To you. And I could see it,
Right from the start,
Right from the start.
That you would be,
Be my light in the dark, Light in the dark.
Oh, you gave me no other choice,
But to love you.

All I want to do,
Is come runnin' home to you,
Come runnin' home to you.
And all my life I promise to,
Keep runnin' home to you,
Keep runnin' home? Home to you.

Can't say how the days will unfold,
Can't change what the future may hold.
But, I want you in it,
Every hour, every minute," Barry finished. He clicked stop on his phone and I looked up at him with happiness in my eyes. His song was so moving, and I didn't know what to do or say. It was just so beautiful.
     "Bar, I-"
"Don't say anything. I want you to listen to me now. I love you, and I want you to know that. Many things are going to occur in the future, good and bad, but I want you to know that I'll love you know matter what. Savitar's threat...I want you to know that I'm gonna get him. I'm gonna do whatever I have to, to keep you and our babies safe. Being in that musical, having that test, our love is strong. I've known that ever since the first time I saw you. We've been through too much, and I'm not gonna let that go. You've been worrying about Savitar, but I want you to know that you're not gonna die...I'm not gonna let you. What we've been through, it's not like normal people. Our love story isn't over, and I want you to know that there's still more to be written," Barry finished, placing a hand on my bulging baby bump. I looked up at him with my tear filled eyes and pecked him on the lips. "You're safe," Barry whispered into my ear before kissing my cheek. I then hugged him tighter, wishing I could never let go. In that moment, being wrapped in his arms and serenaded by his gorgeous voice, I knew I was.

HERE IS A CHAPTER FOR YOU! Sorry for the inactivity. I've gotten very busy lately, but was able to finish off this chapter. Regular updates will continue, but my Wattpad app itself isn't working on one of my devices, so I have to use another one. (Even on the other device it's very slow.) I have one more I can try! I also will be picking back up the shorts, questions, and facts, so stay tuned. Talk to you soon!
