*Mazy's POV*
I lay on the hard mattress for what felt like an eternity. The pains in my stomach seemed to be getting more intense but I chose to ignore them because now really wasn't the time. I was trying to morn for a man that I loved so much and for who I was carrying a child. It was impossible for me to believe that he was dead and so it was heard for me mourn. I just kept thinking about how I wanted him to meet our child.
"Here you are," chimed a voice from the doorway. I looked up to see Rani standing there lent against the door frame. I had grown close to Rani in the short period of time that I had known her in because she seemed to genuinely care. She was like the little sister I had always wanted and Clyde well he was like another brother because I already have Luke.
"Where else would I be other than a nice warm bed?" I joked as I sat up slightly wincing at another pain.
"Still getting them pains? huh?" She asked as she perched herself on the edge of the bed. "You should probably tell your mum,"
"It's nothing that I can't handle. Don't worry,"
"Yeah, but you should definitely tell your mum. She can help," she sighed knowing that I wouldn't tell my mum but instead she changed the subject "Me, Clyde and Santiago are going to explore,"
"Your right actually. I might speak to my mum. You lot need to be careful I don't need you, any of you, getting hurt," I warned leaning get over to get my bag. I pulled out a smoke bomb and placed it into Rani's hand. "Take this and use it in case of an emergency. You pull out the cord and throw but cover your mouth,"
"Oh wow, thanks Mazy. See you later,"
"And you," I said before standing up grabbing my bag before I headed to my mum's room.
When I made it to mum's room, she and Jo were sitting in candle light reminiscing. The looked so peaceful remembering their adventure with my doctor.
"Hey Mazy," chimed Jo as she looked up at me as I stood in the doorway frowning.
"Earth to Mazy," continued mum as she waved her hand in front of my face bringing me back to the room.
"Ow," I whispered under my breath as I felt another pain. This time the pain seemed to last longer.
"You alright?" Now it was mum's turn to frown.
"Hunky dory," I lied taking a seat on one of the beds.
"Rani said you were having pains in your stomach," Admitted mum as she sat beside me playing with my loose hair.
"Snitch," I curse in my head "Oh did she?" I asked innocently and mum nodded "She must have got the wrong end of the stick," I lied again. In all fairness I just didn't want people molly codling me.
"Sure," Mum said narrowing her eyes and turning Jo. I hate lying to mum because she always seems to know, it's almost like she can read my brain like a billboard going 'Emergency Mazy is lying, again.'
"Maybe we should go and find the others," I suggested changing the subject.
"Yeah we should," they both nodded and headed for the door. I lagged behind slightly even though it was my idea because I could barely walk I was in that much pain.
"Sarah Jane!" Rani shouted as she ran over to us.
"What is it?" My mum asked as she held Rani at arms length so that she could see deep into her eyes.
"It's the shansheeth their evil," she spluttered breathlessly.
Mum released Rani and took a few steps back.
"Well, can't say I didn't see this coming," Mum rolled her eyes.
"Then that must mean..." Jo began.
"He's still alive," Me, mum and Jo said in unison.
"Of course I'm alive get will the program," said a voice behind us causing us all to turn around slowly so that we were looking at Clyde.
I frown step forward so I was standing directy in front of Clyde.
"Doctor?" I mused causing everyone to look at me strangely especially Clyde.
"That wasn't me," Choked Clyde and he lifts up his hand "And this isn't my hand because my hands aren't white,"
There was a serge of energy and it looked like Clyde was being electrocuted.
"Hello everyone," Said the doctor as he stood where Clyde once was.
"Who are you and where is Clyde?" Growled Rani.
"Rani don't you see he can change his face," Mum informed "It's you isn't it?"
"Hello Sarah," Replied the Doctor "And Hello you," he turned to me as he pulled me into a tight hug and pressed his lips to mine.
"Am I missing something?" Jo muttered as she pointed at me and the doctor.
"Oh Jo have you met my beautiful girlfriend and mother of my baby?" The doctor smirked as he indicated to me. Jo's jaw dropped considerably "You were probably introduced to her as Sarah's daughter," he placed his hand on my bump and a smile appeared on his lips briefly when the baby moved.
"What is going on?" I asked as I held onto the doctors lapel. "Nice bow tie," I added mindlessly.
"It's complicated. Oh thanks I wore especially for you," he smirked before the Shansheeth arrived.
