Colonel Karim's secret

*Mazy's POV*

"Oi! Shansheeth I want a word with you!" Shouted the doctor as he pushed passed everyone and approached the aliens. "Have you been telling people I'm dead?"

"Oh yes, sorry about that the death notice was given a bit early," The shansheeth at the front replied "I can easily rectify that. Rest-in-peace," and with that he shot a red beam of energy at the doctor.

"No!!" I screamed as I ran over to him but when I got there Clyde was standing where the doctor once lay.

"Clyde?" I frowned "Where's the doctor gone?"

"I don't know," he replied.

"That doesn't matter now let's run!" Mum interrupted as she took my hand and pulled me slightly.

We ran into another room but before we knew it the doctor had regained Clyde's place.

"Right everyone, Sarah, Jo time for an adventure," The doctor said as he took each of there hands.

"What about me?" I pouted folding my arms over my chest.

"Your carrying special cargo and besides someone needs to keep an eye on things," The doctor smiled and kissed me.

"Okay but be safe," I sniffled with my bottom lip pouted.

"Don't cry cupcake, I'll be back before you know it," I just nodded and the three of them disappeared and Clyde reappeared.

"We need to get out of here before the Karim woman gets into us," I commented. "God she is a right head case,"

"Come humans," said the Grosk from earlier as it pointed to a vent. "It's safe come, let's hide,"

"I can't fit though there," I replied pointing to my stomach. "You guys should go I will keep them at bay,"

"We can't leave you," Rani commented as she put her hand on my shoulder. "I don't want to leave you," she pointed to my bump but I pushed her towards the vent.

"You have to because if the doctor needs to do a body switching thing Clyde has to be safe," I said as I held Rani's hand briefly.

"Alright,"

"I know your in there and you can't hide forever," Colonel Karim yelled through the door.

"Go!" I ordered as I watched my friends scurry through the vent before turning my attention back to the door.

"Who said anything about hiding?" I replied through the door. "I'm not hiding. Come and get me,"

"Mazy, you need to come out from there now!" she retorted.

I was about the answer but a sharp pain shot through my abdomen. "Not now sweetie, mummy isn't ready," I whispered to my bump fearing what was coming.

"Ah we're back," the doctors voice announced behind me.

"Thank god your all safe," I smiled as I enveloped my mum in a tight hug.

"Mazy," beamed the doctor as he opened his arms widely towards me. I immediately ran into his arms.

"Doctor," I mumbled into his chest as he held me closely.

"Help! Someone! Anyone!" Screamed a voice that sounded distinctly like Clyde.

"Please they're boiling us!" Rani's echoed voice added.

"We're are the others?" enquired the doctor as he held me at arms length.

"They followed a grosk into the vent and that's as far as I know,"

"Help!" our friends pleaded again, their voices coming through the vent.
