[Phil POV]
I wake up, feeling a weight pushing on my chest. I glance to see a nest of fluffy, slightly curly brown hair. My eyes continue down to see a boy that I know -and, well, love- curled up in a ball on my chest, arms around my thin waist. I cautiously snake my arms around his waist, being careful of any injuries, the one on his stomach especially.
Okay, yes. I admit it.
Despite the short amount of time I've known Dan, I can easily say I'm in love with him.
Or have a huge crush on him at the least.
I place a small kiss onto his soft chocolate hair, just happy he even is alive.
I hear the door creak open, seeing a small woman walk through the door, browm locks bouncing above her shoulders as she walks.
"Ah! You're awake!" Her flute-like voice rings as I brush my ebony hair out of my eyes. (... May or may not have purposely done that @ the people who get my "reference" aka skye jo and charli hopefully)
"Yeah?"
"Technically vistor hours are way gone, but don't worry about it."
"Shit sorry, should've woken me up. I would've gone!"
"No, you two were too adorable!" She begins walking around, checking up in Dan.
"Oh please, uh..?"
"Doctor May, but for the love of god call me Ebony, 'cause ya'll seem cool. Any other pateint it's Dr May. But seriously, you and Dan are so cute together, even the head of the joint let you stay."
"O-oh... Thanks?"
"No problem. Now, I have other people to deal with. See you later!"
"Oh um bye?" I look down at the small boy who seems to be shaking violently. I rub his back, attempting to be reassuring.
"A-a setup?" Leaves Dan's mouth before he starts coughing violently.
