[Dan POV]
I feel a pair of arms wrapped around my body tightly, one arm secured around my waist whilst the other is cradling my head, fingers tangled in my chocolate curls. My legs are still wrapped around his waist from earlier, arms continuing to pull me impossibly closer as I play with his raven hair.
"Afternoon," I hear Phil's low voice, lips moving on the shell of my ear as warmth creeps across my cheeks, a smile erupting on my face. I nuzzle my face into the crook of his neck to try hide the blush, althoughI know he can't see my face. "Wow, I'm loving how responsive you are."
"Shut up." I mumble into his shirt, my words becoming muffled.
"Also, erm, Josie and Ebony said that we can go 'cause um... Yeah whenever you're ready." He stutters, obviously worried about how I feel about it.
"Well, if you're ready now, so am I."
"You sure?"
"Hell yeah! Being stuck in the same room for so long sucks."
"I hear you. Let's get out of here."

After the long process of getting out of bed, we head to the hospital lobby, using Phil as a balance point.
"Hey," Phil starts as I look up at him, holding my stomach with my free hand, the other around Phil. "Erm, I just realised you don't have a place to stay for tonight, so do you want to stay over?"
"Yes please, if it's not a hassle?"
"Of course not!" He states as if it were the most obvious fact. I glide my hand from his waist, slotting my fingers between his. He gives me a confused look as he pushes the large glass doors open after signing us out.
"Just while we're in public. How weird would it look seeing these two awkwardly tall teenagers walking through town, one wrapped around the other." I state, limping as I walk to ease the pain.
"You have a point, but we can get a taxi if you want?" Phil asks, confusion melts from his icy eyes.
"No, it's fine, I can walk."
"You sure?" Phil indicates towards my stomach.
"One hundred percent." I reassure the boy my hand is linked with.
"Okay, but you do know we have to walk through town? We co-"
"Phil, I'm fine! And I do know the way to your house." I say, getting lost in his piercing eyes before he bows his head, focusing on his scruffed up black vans. His grip on my hand loosening. I feel bad for upsetting him. Wow, Dan. You can't do anything but fuck up, can you? I wince at my thoughts, about to speak but Phil beats me to it.
"I'm sorry, I just worry for you and feel the need to protect you and make sure you're happy. I know it sounds stupid, bu-"
"No it doesn't, and you have no need to apologize. I'm sorry for being an asshole." I slip my hand out of his, opening my arms out wide. "Now come here." He accepts my request immediately, arms pulling me closer to his own body, holding the small of my back as I cling onto his upper back, resting my chin on his shoulder."
"You're not an asshole by the way."
"Yes I am honey." I chuckle lowly. "You just haven't seen it yet."
"I fail to believe that." I loosen a bit, staring into his beautifully magnificent eyes.
"Let's just get home. We'll continue this later." I chuckle.
"Good idea." He lets go of me, taking my hand in his once again. We continue our way to his house before I come to an abrupt halt. In the corner of my eye I see Phil looking at me, worried, but that's the least of my problems right now. I see a face with many people following them, all of which I recognize. I haven't had too much experience with them, but from the experiences and what Phil has said, they're not good people.
"Dan, what's wrong."
"What time is it?"
"Three-thirty," He looks at his phone. "Meanig school finished just a while ago, why?"
"Figures," I whisper under my breath, head dipping down, eyes focused on my toes.
"Dan? Wha-"
"Hey faggots. Where have you shits been the past week?"
