It's Saturday night finally and I'm sitting on the couch playing with my fingers. Ethan was gonna be over anytime now to pick me up for our date.

I'm dressed casual,  formal. Wearing a light pink dress that just comes above my knees. It has white flower designs in the bottom. I have a jean jacket covering my arms and I'm wearing tan sandoles with little silver diamond sparkles. My makeup is light with just a little foundation,  lip gloss and mascara.

Grayson and I haven't talked since our fallout. Ethan has told me that he has been acting pretty down lately. He said he tried asking him what's wrong but he won't budge. I don't know why though. Maybe my words hit too close to home. I really hope it helped him realize that he's hurting himself.

A knock on the door pulls me out of my thoughts and I hop off the couch making my way over to the door.

Ethan is standing on the other side of the door holding a dozen roses. I blush like any other cliche girl would.

Ethan looks great,  he's wearing a formal-casual black shirt and his nicest pair of jeans. And of course vans. Ethan loves his vans.

He smiles at me, handing me the roses.

"Thank you." I say,  taking them to my kitchen. I pull out a vase and fill it with water.

"They're beautiful..." I smile to him.

"Not as beautiful as you." he smirks at me.

"Where did you get that one from?" I asked laughing.

"My brain..." he laughed and gave in. "Fine it was a site that gives you all the best pickup lines."

I laughed at his adorableness. "I'll have to give it a look sometime."

"So I see tumblr worked well for you?" Ethan stated looking me up and down.

"I can say the same for you..." I smiled at him blushing.

He tilted his head back in laughter, "Well shall we go now?" I nodded my head taking his arm. We looked as if we were in some cliché princess movie and he was taking me to a ball. It's like every dream I've ever had. I've always wanted to be Cinderella.

I watched as Ethan picked up his keys, "I'll be back-" I cut him off. "Ethan I'm your brother,  you don't have to notify me on when you get home..." He laughed at me as he nodded his head saying 'bye' to me.

"Have fun..." I muttered under my breath. That wasn't the truth though. I don't want them to have fun at all. I like Julie,  a lot. I want her to myself. I know. I'm selfish. He's my brother,  I can't pull this crap on him but I also can't help my feelings.

She's so gorgeous and kind. Her green eyes,  I could stare into them all night. Her laugh,  its contagious. You can't even explain her personality because it's too unique.

I have to tell her. I know I'm a horrible brother but I can't take going on without her knowing how I feel.

I held onto her hand the whole ride to the steakhouse. Even just the feeling of her hand in mine sent tingles up my spine. She stared out the window,  her green-blue eyes sparkling in the moonlight.

For some reason it upset me when I had to let go of her hand to get out of the car but I quickly tangled my fingers back with hers once we got out of the car.

The waiter asked us for our order and for a good half an hour we talked until our food arrived. There was never a quiet or awkward moment cause it was all filled with laughter and conversation.
