Torn (Ethan Dolan)

~Chapter 6~

Today I was helping Ethan and Grayson make a video for their channel. I've been seeing Ethan a little bit less lately, seeing as they're preparing for their worldwide tour. It makes me sad knowing that I won't see Ethan for almost three months but I can bear.

We've been together for about two months now and we are around each other nonstop. I can't even fathom what that three months will be like. I'm really gonna miss him.

"Like the video if you liked the video." Grayson stated.

"If you didn't like the video.... Uhm- Give it a like!" Ethan shouted, showing a thumbs up.

"We'll see you guys next week!" they both shouted in unison.

"On a Tuesday!!!" They both acted like they were having a seizure and after a few seconds I turned off the camera slightly laughing to myself.

The fans still didn't know about me and I kind of like it that way. They can be as sweet as sugar but when they see the twins with a girl besides their sister or mom you never know what they have planned.

Ethan called me over after he was finished getting the SD card and taking down the tripod.

"What's up?" I asked.

"The tour.... You know that it's happening soon?" he stated in more of a question.

I nodded my head, "Yeah.... I'm gonna miss you so much but I'm so happy for you!"

He looked at me with a big smile, "That's the thing..."

I looked at him confused.

"Baby girl, we want you to come with us..."

"Oh my God!" I jumped into Ethan's arms. "Yes! Of course!" He laughed at me, spinning me around and giving me a peck on the lips.

It's a couple days before we are leaving for the tour and I'm pretty much all packed. I'm gonna work a lot on the new book I started last month. I have a pretty good plan for what I want to happen in the book. It's almost like a biography of me but not completely. It's gonna have fake characters, but with the same or close to the same experience.

My phone began to ring, signaling me that I have a call.

"Julie..." my best friend Alexandria voice came over the phone.

"Alexandria... What's up?" I asked. I heard her sigh in sadness over the phone.

"It's about Kaylie..." my heart dropped at the sound of her name. "She overdosed... And-and she died last night Julie... I'm so sorry." A tear slipped from my eye.

"Okay... I'll come to Oregon day after tomorrow... I'll get a plane ticket." We said our goodbyes and I hung up. I collapsed to the ground tears streaming down my face.

I rush to my car, slipping my key into the ignition. Ethan is the only one that knows about my sister, the only person I can talk to. He's also the only person I want to talk to.

There was a knock on the door, so I hopped up from the couch to see who it is. On the other side of the door Julie was standing there, crying. It broke my heart to see her this way.

"Is Ethan here?" she asked, trying to wipe away her tears.

"No, he just left. He's prepping for the tour." I stated.

"Oh, ok. I'm sorry, I thought he'd be here." she said. "I'll just call him later."

She's sad, I can't just let her go. Ethan would want me to comfort her since he can't do it himself.

"No! No- come in..." I pulled her arm before she turned around and left.

"What's wrong Jules?" I asked.

"My sister- my sister died last night..." she began to cry more, so I pulled her into my arms. She didn't hug back for a second but then I felt her wrap her arms around me and squeeze onto the back of my shirt. I'm not gonna lie, it felt great holding her again.

It broke my heart though, seeing how much pain she was in. I don't know much about her sister but I do know she was all she had. The last of her blood.

Her tears began to soak my shirt, so I pulled her over to the couch. She sat down, wiping a few tears away. She seemed embarrassed for some reason.

"I'm sorry..." she said in almost a whisper. "It's just, I don't really have anyone to go to..."

She continued to cry, so I pulled her by her side and she lyed her head on my chest.

"I'm so sorry Julie..." I heard her sniff.

For nearly an hour she sat in my embrace and cried. It felt so good to be near her and feel her touch. I played with her hair to try and give her comfort.

A few minutes later I heard the front door open, "Bro! You'll never guess who I ran into today!"

He was looking at his phone and when he lifted his head he saw Julie's tear stained face.

"Oh my God, Jules..." he opened his arms for her and she ran over to him. "What happened?"

He wiped the tears from her cheeks and held her face in his hands looking at her with pure confusion and worry.

"My sister-" he instantly knew what had to have happened and embraced her.

I can't tell you how much I wish that was me again...
