~Chapter 17~

I still haven't given up on trying to get Ethan's forgiveness and I'm gonna try until I can't even breath anymore.

Right now I was hanging out with Grayson, whom I've become really close to in a friendly way. He's a really good friend, he's there when I need him most and that's a nice feeling. Grayson and I were watching That's So Raven,  the new episodes they made and eating burgers as we steal each others fries.

"Yo!  Julie!" Grayson shouted at me, grabbing my attention. I looked over to see two french fries up Grayson's nose.

"You're such an idiot..." I said laughing.

"I know..." he laughed back at me.

"Please don't tell me you're gonna eat those?" I looked at him.

"Watch me..." Grayson said plopping the two french fries into his mouth.

"Ewwww...." I whined, disgusted.

Suddenly the front door opened and then closed and I heard the most annoying voice to exist on Earth. An awkward tension rose in the room as Ethan and Meredith plopped down on the couch.

"Oh and I need to be to my hair appointment by three..." she said. "So if you could drop me off that would be awesome."

Meredith looked through her purse and sighed.

"I forgot my debit card..." she groaned.

"Here..." Ethan stated pulling out two 20s.

"Thanks." she said kissing him on the cheek.

I saw Grayson nodding his head in disgust from the side of my eye.

"Ok... I need to get going..." I said. "Gotta feed Mr. Fluffy.."

I winked trying to insist that I needed to get out of here to Gray.

"Ok, tell him I said hi..." Gray laughed. "Sure thing... Thanks Gray."

I then spun on my heel instantly leaving. But before I was fully gone I heard Ethan's voice.

"Still skrewing the slut..."

Grayson instantly fired back,  "Don't call her that asshole..."

A tear slipped from my eye but I sucked it up as I left.

This morning when I woke up Meredith was awake too and she was discreetly trying to flirt with me. I obviously didn't give her any signs.

"Yo!" Ethan said walking out from his room.

Meredith was already gone.

"Bro you're such a hypocrite..." I stated in disgust.

"Woah, what?" he asked raising his arms in surrender.

"You left Julie and made her feel awful for one mistake that happened before you guys were even dating yet you are fine with Meredith whom flirts with me in front of you all the time." I shouted angry at him.

"Shut up man..." Ethan groaned.

"No... I wanna know why?" I asked him.

"Bro no.." he stated back.

"Tell me Ethan,  I'm your twin brother-" he cut me off, "Because I expect it from Meredith,  not Julie!" 

"That's not the only reason..." I egged him on.

"Fine... I love Julie!  Not Meredith!!!  But Julie broke my heart..." he quieted down. "I just need to feel something. That's why I'm with Meredith..."
