Her Smile (Pein x Child! Reader)

  His cool eyes watched your every movement. As you crawled and played with your toys oblivious to Pein and the other members of the Akatsuki. He watched with no emotion shown only studying you from afar. You continued to play with you toys amusing yourself at the story you were pretending to play. He was carefully thinking of you, your innocents to the evil in the world.

  You then noticed Pein and giggled at him making him become confused. With your limited amount of words you only singled that you wanted him to pick you up. He knew what you wanted but didn't move. He only watched in confusion and wondering what you'd do. He watched as you became frustrated and with a sigh he sat back into his chair, which he didn't realize he was sitting up in.

  You then dropped your toys and crawl towards the man. You the decided to attempt to stand but fell immediately. Before your tiny body could hit the ground you were caught by the man in the room. He had a still face and looked intimidating to your small eyes. Your eyes filled with tears and you began to cry with little to no sound. Pein's eyes widened to see you cry, how could he get you to love him if you always cried when he held you? Was it the way he was holding you? Maybe he was too painful to see, or maybe he was gripping you too hard.

  He lifted you from the ground and held you in his arms. You were only a baby only about two years if that.  He watched you cry and his heart felt saddened some how. He looked at you with a frown tugging on his lips. He gently brushed away your tears and you instantly stoped crying. You watched him with curiosity and you put your tiny hand onto his cheek which was full of warmth making you stop crying. His eyes widened at your action and he subconsciously put a hand over yours making you giggle. With the small sound you made, made his heart fluttered with joy and he smiled and he stroked your short hair.

"Y/N," he called simply to you and watched as you looked into his purple ringed orbs. "Time to sleep."

  And with that he walked out of his office and to his room passing by Konan in the process. He opened his door and shut it again and went to his bed. He placed you on the pillow and he proceeded to take off his cloak, shirt, and shoes before climbing in bed with you. He then pulled the cover out and over the both of you and brought you into his strong arms. He held you gently, but in a firm lock to protect you. You moved closer to him and placed your face on his shoulder and closed your E/C doe like eyes.

  He watched your sleeping face, for it was relaxing for him to see. After awhile he began to feel tired. He closed his own and began to drift to sleep. His last thought was of your gentle smile you showed him just moments before. Before falling asleep a smile was placed on his face and you in his arms.

  When Pein woke up again you were gone. He looked around the room in a panic but could not find you. His heart turned to fear and rage as he jumped out of bed in a desperate measure. He rushed out of the room and looked around the base.

  After searching the whole base he heard voices and a gentle giggle. The giggle sounded like yours. He rushed towards the sound and saw the entire group with you in the middle sitting on the floor. He walked in the group and sat down next to Deidara and watched you look around the group and you looked scared. For some reason Pein was angered by this. Although he was relieved to see you were okay he was in rage that someone had vexed him by taking you away.   

"Tobi likes baby~" the lollipop like man exclaims and Pein shot glares at him as he walks closer to you. Tobi then wiggled his fingers in front of your face and you were intrigued and confused at what he was doing.

"You fool, don't do that to the baby you'll make her a fool too un," Deidara complains.

"But Deidara--" before he could finish his sentence you bit his finger. The room filled with chuckles and laughter. He eventually pulled his finger from your grasp and you just giggled. You then were picked up by Hidan and he was laughing still.

"This fucking baby is the best! Jashin would be proud of the little bitch!" He exclaims while you held his precious necklace with the Jashin pendant on it. You examined it and the room fell hushed at your action. Even Hidan finally learned to shut him mouth.

  You then looked around at the different members and were confused as to why they were all looking at you. Your eyes fell on Pein and you moved your hands towards him and then moved your body to turn towards him but Hidan held you close, oblivious to the fact you wanted Pein. Pein looked at you and saw that you wanted him to hold you so he stood up and walked towards you and Hidan. You cheered when he was a few inches in front of you.

"What the hell do you want?" He says while holding you closer. Your arms flailed around wanting Pein so bad.

"Can't you see it's obvious that she wants her god," Pein says with little emotion but his glare was full of power. Hidan glares back and you stoped moving you became still knowing you weren't going to be handed to Pein. Your eyes filled with tears and your lips trembled. You let out your cries and everyone fell silent watching you. Pein and Hidan's eyes widened at this. Everyone knew, knows, that Pein would do anything to protect you and to keep you happy.

"Daddy!~" you cried. Pein along with the others were shocked at this, you never uttered a word other than gibberish much less calling of a parent like figure. Pein's heart filled with warmth and joy and his eyes parted from you to the very figure standing in his way from getting to you.

"Hidan give me Y/N," he demanded. His tone was serious and he wouldn't let anyone stand in his way from getting his angel, his baby.

"Fine take the fucking kid," Hidan scoffed while harshly giving you over to Pein. In the process your arms got caught in his pendant causing your arm and his pendant to intertwine and when he gave you back it pulled your arm out of place.

"AHHHHH!!!!" You screamed and tears flew from you eyes. You didn't have to be a medic to see that it was pulled out of place. Pein paniced not knowing what to do.

"Leader let me help," Itachi offered. With his experience with younger kids it would be easy. After all Itachi is the one Pein has babysit while he's on a mission.

"Yes, do so," he said handing you gently over to Itachi. You still wailed but you were in too much pain that you blacked out. Itachi then walked over to a nearby table and gently sent you down. He precisely poped it back in place before handing you back to Pain.

"She should be fine know," he said.

"Hmmph," Pein scoffed as he walked back to his room.

  He learned his lesson once so once he was in the room he locked the door. He also set a trap that would wake him if someone entered before he crawled into bed with you in his arms. He laid down and then rested you on his chest with a arm on your back to support you.

  After hours you woke up and saw Pein sleeping. His arm rested on you and he looked peaceful. You stared in wonder at his face seeing art the piercings and the stress. You crawled closer to him placing a hand on his cheek.

"Daddy," you uttered softly. He started to stir and when he woke he saw your precious smile. The one thing he'd protect the most.

"Y/N," he replied softly. He sat up holding your back to support you. He looked down at you gently before kissing your forehead," what is it my angel?"

"Daddy!~" You exclaimed happily while lifting your arms up to express you wanted him to hold you. He smiled and then proceeded to grant your wishes as he picked you up. You giggled as you put both of your hands on both his cheeks.

"Hello my angel," he exclaimed happily. He smiled warmly down at you. He was so happy that you were with him. He would do anything to protect her smile.
