  You are a ninja of Konoha and you struggle with both anxiety and social awkwardness.

  Currently, you are sitting in Naruto's office. He has called you in to question you about your last mission. The mission went sideways and you and your partner F/N were ambushed and your partner was killed. You escaped with many wounds and your shoulder was broken.

". . .in other words I'm ordering you to take care of yourself. You can't go on a mission until you're well," Naruto says and his words pull you out of your thoughts.

"I understand lord hokage," you reply with a wry smile. Your knee bounces up and down and your hands fiddle together as sweat trickles down your neck.

"No need to be so nervous Y/N it's me you're talking to," he chuckles in his attempt to lighten the mood.

"I know Naruto. After the attack. . .they promised," you trail off as the memories emerge again. You tighten your grip on your hands and Naruto stands up. You look at him and watch as he kneels in front of you. He rests his large hand against your cheek and wipes away a tear that fell.

"Y/N you're like a sister to me. I will find the bastards who hurt you and I will kill them all. For now I'll have Konohamaru be your guard," he sincerely says he stands up and he presses a kiss against your forehead.

"Naruto. . .thank you," your voice cracks as you try to speak. You stand up and hug him as your cry into his chest. The soft cloth pressing against your face reminds you of all the times Naruto helped you as a kid. He has always been like a brother to you.

"I promise I'll keep you safe," Naruto swears as his hand draws circles on your back.

Later that evening, you sit anxiously on your brown, leather couch. Hearing a knock on the door you cautiously grab a kunai and open the door slowly. Realizing who it is your grip on the kunai relaxes.

"Geeze Y/N it's just me," Konohamaru laughs.

"I'm glad you came," you smile and you step aside so he can enter. You shut the door and then lock it. Then you turn to him as your knees suddenly feel weak. Your heart races as fast as lightning and your nerves send a red blush on your face.

"Naruto sent me here to keep you safe. Are you alright?" He asks with his face showing concern. His eyes are unreadable but he seems like he wants something.

"I'm scared," you answer shyly.

"That's why I'm here, to keep you safe," he answers. He runs his hand through his hair and you walk past him to your couch. You sit down slowly because of Konohamru. It's just he's so hot and on top of that he's watching you.

"I'm sorry you had to go through all of the trouble for me," you apologize with your head turned away from him and you gazed at the amazing off-white carpet.

"Are you crazy? It's not trouble I would glady protect you," Konohamaru states calmly and level headed that you turn to see his burning red cheeks.

"Y-you would do that f-for me," you stutter as you gaze into his loving eyes.

"Of course," he chuckles nervously and somehow winds his hand in his hair.

"Thanks," you look away feeling the shyness creeping up to you. Your hands build sweat and you play with your thumbs. Your heart increasing faster and your head spinning wilder.

"Just relax Y/N don"t make me make you," he slyly comments.

"I'm okay," you whisper more to yourself than him.

Suddenly, you feel him wrap his arms around you and his head resting on top of yours. Your muscles tense and he rubs circles in your back relaxing you. He nuzzles his head on your shoulder and you lean closer to him breathing in his sweet scent.

"Don't be so worried. I'll kill anyone who tries to hurt you," he growls.

"Thanks Konohamaru," your blush arises onto your face and your voice lowers.

"Are you alright?" His caring nature asks, worried he might have scared you somehow.

"Yes its. . .nothing," your quiet and nervous voice barely makes it out.

"I don't need the sharingan to see through that bs," he comments. "Whatever it is, you can tell me."

"I can't," you whisper.

  You are so head-over-heels in love with him that telling him that would be catastrophic. You have loved him since Naruto introduced you to him.

"Y/N this is my good friend Konohamru," Naruto introduces with a wide smile as you hide behind his legs. "Hey no need to be shy. If I can trust him so can you."

"Hey are you going to stare all day or what," he rudely interrupts.

"Chill she's my sister," Naruto growls.

"Nah she ain't. You two are totally different," he points out with a blunt tone hidden.

"Shut your mouth she is my adopted sister," he corrects.

"I'm Y/N," you shyly say.

"I'm your next hokage Konohamru Sarutobi," after saying this you watched as him and Naruto argued over who would be the next hokage. 

"Yeah you can," he says pulling you back into reality. "I've always been there and I don't plan on leaving."

"Close your eyes then," you order him. He complies and you then decide to show him rather than tell him.

  You turn around and hook your legs on either side of him. Then you put your hands on his neck and lean in close to him. Kissing his lips softly, you can feel his body reacting. He kisses back gently and then you grab onto his neck as he kisses sweeter. His arms hold you and he kisses you like candy. He poured his love into you and you into him.

"I love you," you whisper as you pull away.

"I love you too," he whispers. "I promised to protect you. That means loving you too."

"Thank you for your protection," you giggle.

"Are you using sexy jutsu? or do you always look that good?" He teases as you hit him.
