Lucy *Song inspiration* (Naruto x Reader)

  Today was the day. Today was the day. Today was the day your sister, Lucy died. She died during a mission at a young age.

  You walked around Konoha looking for the white roses, her favorite. You spent hours looking until you spotted them, conveniently next to your crush. As you walked over to get them, you spotted one of her team mates who let her die and let her life end. They left, they ran because they didn't want to die. The simple act of cowardness let the whole squad almost die and only one death...hers.

  Every inch of your being told you to attack and demand to know why they had to let her die. You wanted to taste their blood to make them feel your pain. No, that's not who you are. Instead, you walked by Naruto and bought the roses. After retrieving what you bought you started to walk to her grave.

  Being the older sister it was hard for you to even live without seeing her around. She was so young. . .too young. Once you found the cemitary you entered and went to her grave.

"Hey Lucy I remember your name," you start as tears begin to flow,"I left a dozen roses on your grave today. I'm on my knees wipe the leaves the way. I just came to talk for awhile got somethings I need to say."

  You then sit on the ground after clearing the weeds and stuff off the grave and tombstone. You the held your hand to your heart as the pain swept in. Every moment with her was a blessing. Sure you had fought a lot but you were, are siblings. Without her the light had left, your friend your loved one, your keeper, gone.

"Now that's it's over, I just wanna hold her I'd give up all the world to see that little piece of heaven looking back at me. Now that it's over I just wanna hold her I've gotta live with the choices I made And I can't live with myself today," you sobbed out. If you would've gone with her she would still be alive, your choice of leaving her made this happen. You convinced yourself, blamed yourself for her death.

"Lucy, I love you so much. Please forgive me," you cried out while trying to ease the pain but there was no comfort of lossing the dear sibling you grew up with. That's when you felt a gentle hand on your shoulder. You turned around so fast that you almost got whiplash. It was....

"Y/N It's okay I'm here for you," he said comforting.

"Naruto when? What uh...."

"I've been here the whole time. In the market I tried talking to you but you were zoned out so I followed where you went just to make sure you were safe," he confessed. He then offered you a hug that you couldn't resist. You hugged him holding onto him for dear life as if he'd leave if you left. "Its okay Y/N, let it out. It's okay to cry."

  You wept onto him as he held you close to him. He did everything to comfort you. He rubbed your back and did everything to help ease your pain. After a while you glanced up at him and all you saw was love in his eyes.

"Naruto thank you," you said quietly. He put his hand on you cheek and looked into your eyes.

"No problem," he cheered. You looked at him and looked deep in his eyes and saw nothing but love.

"Naruto please stay with me," you begged as you held him not wanting to be alone but not wanting to let him go.

"Sure thing," he replied softly. He then started to walk to your house with you holding his hand. He walked you all the way there and you let you both in. He sat down on the couch and you did as well not knowing what to do.

"Thank you Naruto," you cut the silence between the two of you.

"You're welcome. No need to thank me," he responded. He looked over at you and then held your shoulder causing you to look at him. "I know your going through a lot and I'll always be there for you. Y/N you don't know how precious you are to me. I'd do anything you wanted me. If I had to lay down my life for you I would, I love you and I'll never stop loving you even after I die. I promise I'll always love you."

"Naruto...," you trailed not knowing what to say he pulled you into a hug holding you gently.

"I love you Y/N. I don't know if you return the feeling but even if you don't you will still know," he declared softly. You hugged him back bearing your face into his warm chest as you held him close, hearing his heartbeat.

"I love you too, Naruto," you uttered. The room began to become fuzzy as you became tired somehow you were laying on Naruto's chest. Before you fell a sleep the last words you said in you mind was, hey Lucy I remember your name.

  Sorry it took forever for me to update. This is a short chapter that popped into my mind. I'm currently working on another chapter it is a Kakashi x Reader kind of sad but I hop you enjoy. The song is owned by Skillet I do not own it or the lyrics.
