  Shino, an amazing ninja, he often visits you. He has such warmth and is very intelligent. Today, however, was very strange.

  He walks in your house and immediately came to the couch where you were laying. He gently crawled on top of you and hugged you tightly. Though the both of you are best of friends, he's never done something like this unless he was upset.

"Shino what's wrong?" You ask gently as you fingers ran through his hair. He rests his head on top of your pillows making you slightly uncomfortable, but you don't want to hurt him more.

"Naruto came back to the village today," he starts. " and he didn't recognize me." You could tell his feeling hurt so you gently pushed his head back down.

"Relax Shino, he probably didn't recognize you since you got new pieces of your outfit. Besides your older now and Naruto probably didn't see it plus he's our Nuckle 'Headed Ninja'," you say to attempt to cheer him up. He sighed as your fingers played with the sensitive ends of his hair.

  Eventually the both of you fell asleep holding eachother. You knew you loved him and every action of his made you fall even harder for this man.

  Shino awoke in the middle of the night. Sweat trickling down his back and down his face. In his nightmare, you and Shino had went on a mission. In the mission the both of you were fighting hard when he had saw something catch his eye, but when he turned again he witnessed you being killed. Your blood painted the ground and his face froze in horror. The love of his life killed in front of him. Not even his bugs could save you!

  Shino looked at you and he did something bold, risky, and something he did out of instinct. He kissed you, something he's been wanting to do. He was afraid that you'd ignore him and wouldn't accept his feelings.

  When he pulled back from the gentle kiss, he got off you and very carefully--and gently-- carried you to your room. He held you close like he'd lose you, he would never let anything happen to you. He loved you and nothing was truer than his love for you.

  He gently laid you down and he took off your shoes, leaf protector, and he jacket (a/n: if you're not wearing one ignore that). He then removed his jacket, shoes, and anything else that needed to be taken off. After that, he crawled in with you and he pulled you towards his chest. Protecting you from anything that'd harm you. He pulled the blankets over them and snuggled into you just a little and he eventually fell asleep.

  The next morning you woke up to see Shino's chest and noticed you both were in your room. Strange, you thought, I don't remember coming in here. He then unexpectedly shifted and your faces were merely centimeters apart. Your eyes widened at this and as you tried to understand what happened when he woke up. He looked at you as calm as always and he gave a small smile.

"Good morning," he says his smile shifting into his normal expression.

"Mornin' did you move me in here?" You ask.

"Yes," he replies while looking at you.

"Oh," you couldn't help but to blush about fifty diffrent shades of red. It can't be helped when you're around someone you care deeply about or simply just love.

"You're blushing," he states causing you to blush more. You look for an escape but can't find one.

"Why did you stay with me?" Daring yourself to ask him.

"Because I had a nightmare and needed to protect you. Beside I love you," he says a little to fast but you understood. Every. Last. Word.

"Shino. . .," you whispered while hugging him. He returned your hug and kissed your forehead and ran his right thumb across your bottom lips.

"I love you will you notice my feelings?"

"Yes Shino I'll also notice your feelings ," you say and Shino kissed you gently and had, for some reason, covered the door with his bugs all without breaking the kiss.

"Why did yo--"

"Naruto is an idiot," he stated and then kissed you again feeling that he was noticed.
