I'll Never Let You Go (Kakashi x Dying! Reader)

You, Y/N L/N are a jonin of Konoha. You're friends with the famous Kakashi Hatake, Kakashi of the Sharingan or the copy cat ninja.

Today the hokage has summoned you to her. You walk up the stairs and When You enter the room you see Kakashi waiting there for you. The hokage explains how you and Kakashi have been assigned an A Rank mission. She explains how you and him have to retrieve an artifact for a small village. You also have to protect the village's bridge until the second bridge is completed. Marvelous.

"You ready?" You asked Kakashi.

"Yeah let's go," he sighs. The walk was long and quiet. You may be friends but sometimes silence is the best. You and him had to stop for the night because it was getting too late. When you did he offered to take first watch which you reluncatly agreed to. A few hours later he woke you up and you two switched.

When morning came you and him made your way again. This time you and him were making small chat and were laughing and messing around. Kakashi told you about his students and how proud of them he is. He also told you about their adventures. You told him about your missions and how the hokage doesn't want you to teach children. Not yet anyways. According to her you're too powerful for that.

After a few hours you made it to the village. They told you about their crisis and that you and Kakashi had to go and retrieve the equipment that was stolen from them to make the bridge. They gave you the general idea where the location was.

"Hey boys," you called as you caught their attention. "You took something that doesn't belong to you. I'm here to get it back. We can do this the easy way or the hard way, which do you prefer?"

"That's cute girl but go home. Your scrawny body couldn't even hurt us so please entertain me," one said.

"Fine then," you sighed. "We'll do this the hard way." You then used a fire jutsu to set their camp on fire. You proceeded to beat them and with a rage you managed to knock them all out. You looked around the camp and found the equipment that was stolen. You grabbed the equipment and set the rest of the camp on fire. Of course you moved the bandits out of the way first. You made your way back to the village and there you met the building team. You gave the equipment back to them and then met up with Kakashi and you and him stood guard.

While standing there on guard you felt something. "Kakashi do you sense that?" You asked feeling a presence of chakra. Looking around you tried to find them.

"Yeah," At the last second you saw them. It was too late. One of them had a bow and when the arrow was released it penetrated your amor and into your skin. The arrow had made a clean shot threw your chest and it nearly missed your heart. Your body weakened almost immediately.

"Y/N!" Kakashi caught your body as your body couldn't stand any longer. You layed still as your body was giving in, giving up.

"Kakashi deal with them," you said reminding him of his duty. He had no choice but to leave you. He found the men easily and found the one who shot you.

"Kakashi Hatake," on of them said. "We've taken your woman and now we will take you!"

"You have done nothing," he stated. He then moved his head band and revealed his Sharingan. He grabbed a kunai and started to attack the men. He was able to defeat all but one doing so. The last one he used chidori and knocked him out. After he was sure they were all down he tied them up and dragged them to the city. There he saw that the people were trying to stop the bleeding. "Y/N!"

"She is dying I'm afraid," an elderly woman stated.

"There has to be something we can do. She can't die!" He cried.
