You're Mine (A.U.: Mean! Neji x Hurt! Reader)

  Everyday you would see him. His sharp eyes, his long hair, pale skin, he is Neji Hyuga. His sharp glares and the hatred in his eyes.

"Hello Neji," you whispered as he walked beside you to get to the same class. He simply ignored you as he walked faster to get to the classroom.

  When you got there, there was barely anyone there yet meaning you could sit anywhere. You chose the spot by the window in the middle section of the desks. After sitting down you text your parents (or guardian if your character's parents are dead) saying good morning and you were doing well. You watch as your teacher walked in. He was your English teacher who happened to be best friends with your gym teacher. You had Mr. Hatake as your English teacher.

"Good morning class, sorry I'm late. My car wouldn't start," he apologized scratching the back of his head. He was weird because he wore a scarf around his face. Looking around you saw most of your class but one was missing. Where is Neji? Turning behind you, you saw he was sitting behind you. You quickly turned back towards the front and got your notes out.

  The lesson was over an project that you were given. The project was a theme on things that change and have different types. An example, music. Music has changed over time and there is different types of music such as country, rock, alternative, etc. You were all assigned a partner in advance and you just hoped it was Naruto or Sasuke. Naruto didn't really focus much and you would probably have to do all the work and Sasuke well he's Sasuke. He would probably dictate it and you would die by Sakura.

"I'll call who's with who. Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha: music, Rock Lee and Tenten: housing, Y/N L/N Neji Hyuga: movies, . . . ." After that you didn't pay attention. You got your crush who also was very mean. You watched from the corner of your eye as he sat next to you. His face had a scowl and you knew he didn't like this at all. "And lastly Ino Yamanaka and Sai: art. You have the next two weeks to research and study what you've been assigned. I don't care what you do to get it done but you you will be presenting to the class." Without another word everyone got with their partner and began discussing the work.

"Good morning Neji," you greeted.

"Y/N, shut up and focus," he bitterly said.

"Okay," you felt saddened by his coldness but accepted it,"what do you want to do for the project?"

"We obviously will have to watch the movies together,"he states.

"I agree. You can come to my house if you'd like," you offered in a kind gesture.

"That's wise," he commented with a cold like look.

"Alright when do you want to come over?" You softly asked.

"I'll see if I can today idiot. When need to get started today," he spat. He took his phone out and texted who you assumed was his uncle. You knew about his dad and how he was murdered by mistake when a murderer was after his uncle. You felt bad for him and knew he only needed some love. "I can come over today."

"Alright meet me after school and we can go together," you instructed. He nodded his head in agreement. The bell then rang and you grabbed your things and left to your next class. Your phone buzzed and you read the text from your parent/guardian saying it was fine for Neji to come over and that you would be alone with him.

  The day went quickly and soon enough you met Neji by your locker. His eyes glanced at you before staring behind you with a glare. You didn't ask how he knew where your locker was and just packed your bag. When you finished you started walking with Neji a few paces behind you. The walk was lengthy but not too bad. When you arrived at your house you unlocked the door with your key and let yourself and Neji inside. After closing the door you set your bag down underneath the key holder. Neji did the same after you. You turned and looked into his beautiful eyes.

"Where do you prefer to watch a movie?" You asked.

"I prefer in a room on a bed but here is fine," he answered. You then turned on the T.V. in your living room and handed him the remote letting him choose which movie to watch. He chose Captain America Civil War which was made in 2016.

"Would you like anything?" You asked looking at him.

"Water and some popcorn," he replied. You went to your kitchen and starts she popcorn in the microwave. You made him a glass of water putting four ice cubes in his cup. When the popcorn finished you grabbed a large bowl and poured the popcorn into it. You made sure to mix it around to even out the butter (or whatever kind you like). Walking back you found Neji the same way he was when you left. You set the bowl down in front of him and handed him his glass of water. "Thanks."

"No problem," you nervously smiled. You sat down beside him and slowly took off your harsh shoes. You had worn them since early this morning. You took your shoes and set them by the door trying not to seem weird. You sat back down and continued with the movie. You don't know how it happened but you ended up beinging held in his arms. How it happened? No clue. It's one of the world mysteries.

"Y/N?"

"Yes Neji?"

"Get off," he stated with his voice laced in annoyance. You quickly got off and apologized a million times in the process. "Hn."

"I really am sorry," you awkwardly sat next to him when a gentle hand wrapped around your shoulder. Before you could turn to its owner, you felt a gentle kiss on your cheek.

"Remember this L/N, only I can do that," Neji's voice sounded darker and more possessive for some unknown reason. You heard from Hinata that he liked a girl but wouldn't say whom she was.

"O-okay," your voice, barley above a whisper, said.

"Good," you didn't have to turn to know that he was smirking. Hearing the soft buzz of his phone he stated he had to go and he left.

  . . .

The next morning woke up from a gentle buzz. You turned on your phone and saw a text from Neji. He apparently got your number from Hinata, figures, and wanted to meet at Hokage Coffee Shop to discuss your project. Since it was Saturday you didn't care so you agreed and grabbed your wallet before leaving. You also left a note for your guardian saying you were out with Neji to work on your project.

  When you arrived you saw him and Rock Lee waiting. You smiled shyly to them and Lee instantly ran to you picking you up in a hug. He spun you around calling you his youthful flower. Neji looked pissed by this and looked ready to kill him.

"Lee you shouldn't touch what isn't yours," he warned in a growl.

"Well Neji, Y/N is a youthful flower who isn't anyone's," Lee replied causing Neji to growl deeper. As soon as Lee set you down, Neji took your hand and dragged you elsewhere.

"Neji slow down!" You cried but it was pointless because he was too deep in thought.

"Y/N do you like me?" He asked bluntly when he stopped at his secret hideout.

"Well as a friend. . .yes," you were puzzled as to why he asked.

"I mean more than a friend. Do I set your heart on fire?" He asked inching towards you with his hand gentle on your waist.

"Yes," your soft voice was music to him. He smirked as he kissed your soft lips. His hands supported you at the waist and his kiss was sweet. When he pulled away you were fifty shades of red darker.

"Be mine," he stated.

"Yes Neji," he kissed you again but this time it was just a peck.

"If Lee touches you again you let me know. I will make sure he never does so again," he growled.

"Alright."

"Good Because You're mine."
