  You were barely a year old when Konan saved you from your destroyed town. She was on a mission when she found you. She found you in a broken house that had been in a fire. She heard your cries and when she found you, she saw that your tiny body was malnourished and you had burn marks in you. She couldn't leave you to die so she had no choice but to bring you home.

  Of course the rest of the Akatsuki were shocked when she brought you inside. Pein fell in love with you at first sight. The rest of the Akatsuki had to get use to your presence. Pein also enforced that if anyone hurt you he'd kill them with his bare hands. That being said the other members, disgaurding Hidan, made sure not to mess with you.

  Konan loved you like a mother and didn't want to leave you every time she went on a mission. That's how today began, she had to leave for a mission but didn't want to leave you with anyone who'd hurt you. She needed someone to watch you while she's away. Hidan might sacrifice you to Lord Jashin so he's not an option, Deidara might explode you if he got annoyed so definitely not an option, Zetsu might eat you, and Itachi well. . .he's Itachi. So guess who she picked to babysit. . .Pein.

  Pein agreed to this even though Konan used some blackmail. At the moment you and Pein were in his quiet office just chilling. He is working endlessly on his paperwork as you playwith your toys that Konan got you. Well, it was quiet until the rest of the group got up and out of bed since.

  You ignore the noise and Pein let's out a sigh and pinches the bridge of his nose. He looks at you and a smile tugs at his smile. He chuckled calmly while admiring your peaceful aura and your playfulness. He got out of his chair and he sat on the ground. His strong hands wraps around your small sides and he sets you in his lap.

  Looking back at him your big, bright E/C eyes looks at him with glowing innocents. You smile innocently and you giggle as you turn around in his lap. You tug gently at his cloak and Pein looks down at you in curiosity.

"Y/N," he called. You grabbed his nose and felt each of his piercings, which each one cool to the touch. Pein slid his hands underneath your butt and held the base of your neck as stood up and walked into the living room. He then sat on the couch letting out a soft sigh as he realizes the other Akatsuki men are sitting in the living room. He noticed Hidan sprawled out on the couch not minding Pein's presences.

"Hidan I think Leader wants you to move~" Tobi called from across the room.

"Why he hell do I care it's just a couch," Hidan objected. He looked over at Tobi and gave him an icey glare.

"I suggest you move or I'll force you," Pein threatened with his eyes narrowed. Hidan sighed and moved his legs so Pein could sit down with you in his arms. For a baby, you were extremely quiet which was odd. Soon after Konan noticed this she took you to a medic--who she threatened to kill if they didn't see you. The medic nin said that your vocal cords had been damaged in the fire. In other words, it is very unlikely for you to even speak. This didn't make since to Konan because when she found you you had been crying. Well the medic nin had said it takes as little as three days for it to happen. 

  When she returned home with you she broke the news. Immediately Pein was upset because he could never hear your beautiful voice. Although he didn't say anything. Konan was the most upset because you are her daughter, her baby. She let Pein watch you as she went to her room to sulk. That's when Pein realized how he felt.

"Can she walk yet?" Itachi asked bringing Pein back into the present. Itachi is always calmer and looked to be more at peace when you are around. Pein is the only one who noticed this though.

"I believe she can," Pein spoke as you messed with his nose piercings. He doesn't mind when you do because he loves the curiosity in your eyes.

"Why do you keep that child around? And why the hell you let a woman push you around? All that baby needs is to be sacrificed to Lord Jashin," Hidan yelled and it is the last straw. Clearly angry, most of the men left the room because of Pein's darkened eyes. Pein held you against his chest and handed you to Itachi. After Itachi took you, he turned to Hidan and gave a death glare. He grabbed Hidan by his throat and pushes him outside.

"Don't anger a God! Almighty--"

"Daddy!" You cried weakly as you squirmed in Itachi's grasp. Pein looked behind him and he saw you and Itachi standing in the doorway. When Pein looked at you he saw your tears streaming from your face. Instantly he dropped Hidan and Itachi tried to sooth you as you squirmed for Pein.

"Sh sh it's okay Y/N, sh," he says in a soothing voice. Itachi handed you to the vulnerable Pein.

  Pein walked back to his room with you clutching his chest with hot tears rolling down your face. He set you gently on the bed and wipped your tears and kissed your head. "I've got you Y/N, don't fear I won't let no man or god hurt you as long as I live."

"Love. . .daddy," the young girl/boy called as s/he drifted to sleep. Pein was suddenly struck with shock but it quickly left as he placed you on the sheets and laid beside you. He wrapped his arms around your tiny body and threw the sheets over the both of you.

"I love you too. . . Y/N. With all my heart," he said before drifting to sleep with you.

Extended Ending~

  Konan returned late at night to see Hidan with bruises and Itachi smirking. Itachi chuckled and quietly left the room.

"What happened?" Konan asked, looking at the very bruised Hidan.

"Let's just say Hidan insulted you and Y/N so Leader took care of it," Kakuzu explained while groaning as he sets aside money for repairs of the base. It is very obvious he is very upset.

"Where is he now?" Konan asked while awaiting her child. She was going to kick Hidan's ass, but Pein did that for her.

"He's in his room. He said no one to bother him," Kisame answers. Konan nodded and rushed to Pein's room. She knocked quietly before she heard a soft 'enter'. When she walked in she smiled at what she saw.

  A half asleep Pein and Y/N cuddling in bed. Konan let's out a soft giggle as she moves closer to the bed. She walks to Y/N'S side and that's when Pein moves Y/N closer to him.

"Pein give me Y/N," she asks poking at his side softly.

"No Konan," He exclaims as you stir awake.

"Daddy. . .?" You question as Pein gently strokes your soft hair.

"Sh sh sh its okay go back to sleep," Pein soothes as he kisses your forehead.

  Konan froze with her eyes wide open. Not only had you just spoke but you called Pein your dad. She let tears stream from her eyes as a gentle smile braces her face. It was like a little family. Her, you, and Pein. Konan kisses Pein's face and then yours. She left the room knowing Pein would always protect you no matter the cost. You are his child, his daughter, his angel.
