"Adrian, baby, we gotta go! We're gonna be late for Emma's recital! Hurry your ass up!" I yell at the love of my life. I know I'm not usually all sappy like that, but let me tell you, that man turns me to jello every time I think about him. I met him about 5 or 6 years ago on a ski trip with the Academy, a school I used to go to that I liked to call Vampire Academy. My best friend Lissa hates it, but I love it.
Anyways...I have two beautiful children, Emma, who is now 3, and Toby, who just turned 5 months last week.

"Baby, baby, baby, ohhhh!" Emma starts singing. She loves Justin Bieber. I don't know that I approve of that, but her father lets her listen to it so it can't be that bad.
"I'm coming I'm coming! Don't get your panties in a knot!" Adrian mutters as he comes down the stairs.
"Excuse me?" I say playfully. I acted hurt and when he saw me his face contorted into a fake scowl.
"Oh baby, I was only kidding, I love you." He said, brushing my newly cut hair away from my face and kissing me on the forehead.
"I know!" I say as I jump up and kiss him on his nose.
"Momma Momma Momma!" Emma said, making grabby hands at me.
"Emma Emma Emma!" I said, picking her up and placing her on my hip. She had on her ballet outfit on and she was looking extra cute.

Adrian grabbed Toby's carrier and his diaper bag and we walked out to the car. I started buckling Emma up when she tapped on my shoulder.
"Momma?"
"Yes Emma?" I asked her.
"Why are you so pretty?" She asked, touching her pointer finger to my nose. I looked at her astounded for a second before I recovered.
"Well," I said as I clipped her harness into place. " That's because my mommy was very pretty." I told her.
"Why?"
"Well, because her mommy was very pretty too."
"Why?"
"I don't know hunny, she just was. We gotta go." I say, kissing her forehead and closing her door. I hopped into the passenger seat, buckled up, and took my husbands hand. He pulled mine up and kissed the back of it, and I smiled at him as he pulled out of the driveway.
