Vanessa's POV

IT'S ALREADY eleven o'clock in the morning, I woke up early like around six o'clock to think about what happened yesterday night. What happened last night was unimaginable.

How could he do this to us?! To me?!

After I found out everything, Eric and I decided to go home. Eric was worried about my actions last night, hindi ito mapakali. Neither I am!

I massaged nose bridge, "Damn." I heavily sighed. Suddenly, I took a glanced on my drawer. I opened it and there I saw an envelop, a brown envelope.

I stood up and went to my uncle's workroom and there I saw butler James who gave him a coffee "Vanessa! Why don't you knock?"

"Tss." I rolled my eyes "You may now leave," I told butler James, he nodded and walk away "What is my dear niece?"

Napatingin siya sa hawak ko, "Is what you're gonna say important? Because you wouldn't knock if it isn't."

We bothc chukle, "I'm just wondering," I put it on his table "Do you want to have a vacation?"

"VANNIE, ayos ka lang ba talaga?" Eric asks me, "May nangyari ba kagabi? May nagawa ba ako?" He pouts

I shooked my head, "I'm fine, why do you keep asking me? I'm busy, Eric." I'm in the War Field together with my men and currently I'm in the office to check some documents regarding War Field.

"Eh kasi kagabi bigla kang nanahimik," I shrugged "I'm always like this Pires, what's new?"

He pouts "Sure ka, ayos ka lang?" I nodded as he sighs

"Kapag may problema ka Vannie," he looked away "N-nandito lang ako ah?"

I smiled at him, "Yeah right, Eric." I guess, I am lucky to have him "Thanks,"

After that conversation, he told me that there is an important meeting that will be held in Octagon.

He needed to go there and he even ask for my permission, I could not help not to laugh! Who wouldn't be? I am not his boss.

Currently, I'm in my office. I'm reading files on my laptop but suddenly someone knocked on my door

My brows furrowed "Come in,"

The door opened and there I saw Leandro "Wow, wow." He looked around as he claps his hands "Ang ganda naman dito," he sat on my couch

"What do you want?" I asked without loiking at him, "I'm kinda' busy today, Leandro. Can't this wait?"

He chuckled "I wanted to give something to you." My brows raised as I look at him, he put a box on my table "What's this?"

"Open it." He shrugged his shoulders.

I opened it and my eyes met a knife, "What is this for?"

"For the traitor," I took a glance at him but looked at the knife once again. It's good and it's sharp. It has a letter V on its handle

"That's my gift for you, sa tagal ba naman nating hindi nakapag usap." He chuckled as I shook my head

"You don't have to do this," I glance at "—but thanks anyway," Damn, this is good.

"Anything, Queen. Alam mo naman na handa akong mag silbi, para sa'yo." He smiles

IT'S ALREADY evening and I've decided to go home, my uncle texted me that he was at the airport earlier. I didn't get the chance to go with him earlier because of my busy schedule

But I made sure that my uncle was with his bodyguards, I even let butler James to come with him at the airport.

While walking all of these men are bowing to me, to show respect. I continue to walk to the parking lot and there I saw tall yet masculine man

His eyes met mine, he smirked. "Hey baby." He walked closer and grabbed my waist, "You seem busy, hmm"

"Yeah, I'm kinda' b-busy." Why the f am I stuttering again?! It's just, Axel!

'Calm down, Vanessa. Don't stutter!'

"Busy with Leandro?" He laughs as my brows furrowed "How did you know Leandro?"

He shrugged his shoulders, "I just know," I gulped "I've missed you. Pagod ka?"

I nodded, "Hmm."

He put both of his hand on his pocket "Axel," I called his name

"Y-your letter," I gulped "Didn't you give me a letter before? For what? Hindi ko maintindihan,"

He smiled, evilly "Oh baby," he caress my left cheek "Hindi ba binalaan na kita dati?" He let out a sexy chuckle

That was so sexy—wait what?!

"Binalaan? What?"

"There's a traitor, Vanessa." He held my right hand "There's a traitor who's going to cut your damn wings."

"W-what?" I shooked my head, he turn his back on me "—I know who he is!" I shouted to make him look at me once again

"I've tracked his location, I know who he is. We went there last nigh—" My eyes widened when Axel gripped on my shoulders "W-what are you doing? You're hurting me!"

"You went there?" He's fuming mad, but why? "You don't know how dangerous that person is!" I pushed him away

"What are you trying to say? May alam ka ba tungkol sa mga nangyayari?" My forehead creased

He slowly let go of my shoulders "Answer me, Axel!"

He looked away "He's dangerous, stay away from him." I heard he say

"You told me you like me, you told me you love me!" He glanced at me "—if you really love me, then tell me what you know."

"I love you that's why I'm protecting you Vanessa—"

"I don't need your damn protection!" I glared at him "If you won't tell me what you know, then this is over! This will be the last time that you will see me,"

"—and this is the last time that you will talk to me," I clenched my fist

His lips pale but eventually he clenched his jaw "You know me, Axel. Kapag sinabi ko, 'yon na 'yon. May isa akong salita, and you fucking know that."

"Fine, Vanessa!" He let out a sigh.

"I will tell you what I know, but we have to make a deal baby." What is it

"Once I tell you the informations about the traitor," he snaked his arm on my waist

"We will attack, together. Not only you, but with me." But, "Got that?" I just found myself nodding at him. Damn.
