Vanessa's POV

"I W-WAS threatened by Michelle."

He bitterly smiled "Ginagamit niya ako para mapabagsak ka." He simply said "Siya din ang dahilan kung bakit ganito ang set up natin."

I looked away "W-why? How--"

"Because of Michael." He cut me off

"Naghihiganti siya at ako ang ginagamit niya laban sa'yo." What the hell? This is completely ridiculous!

"Naging alipin niya ako," our eyes met "Para mapigilan ko siyang saktan ka."

"Axel..."

"I wanted to protect you." He slowly put his right hand on my cheek "At alam mong gagawin ko ang lahat para protektahan ka."

Napatingin ako sa baba "Handa akong masaktan at mahirapan, maprotektahan ka lang."

I bit my lower lip "W-why are you..."

I don't want to cry. Not in front of him! "Why a-are you doing this?"

He caress my cheek "Because, I love you."

The moment he said that, I felt a tear on my cheeks. "I'm willing to do anything for you, my love." I heard him say

I stared at his eyes and he's forcing himself to smile "Kahit ang kapalit nito ay masaktan ako."

I shooked my head and I didn't hesitate to grab him and hug him. He caress my back, telling me not to cry.

Soft sobs are the only noises here in his room, "I'm sorry, baby." He whisper on my ear

"She i-initiated the kiss," naalala ko na naman ang nakita ko, but unlike earlier magaan na ang pakiramdam ko. "Wala akong magawa dahil ayokong isipin niya na,"

I let go from our hug but we're a few inches away from each other "W-what?" I ask

"Trinatraydor ko siya," pagpapatuloy niya "Na tinatalikuran ko na siya."

I looked away and say, "You should have push her."

I heard him chortle, "You're right, I should have done that." I sighed

"Do you," I cleared my throat and tried to look directly at his eyes "U-usually do that?"

I saw confusion on his face "Ang alin?" I hissed, of course the kiss! Dumbass.

Maybe he saw the way I roll my eyes. He chuckled, "Are you talking about the kiss?" I nodded while looking away.

"We don't do that actually," he shrugged his shoulders "Siguro kaya niya ginawa yo'n dahil,"

My forehead furrowed, "She's smart, Vanessa." He says "Magaling siya sa labanan, magaling din siya magpaikot ng tao gamit ang mga salita niya."
