Vanessa's POV

EVERYTHING was going well but after a few days, Axel disappeared. Yesterday, we were fine but it seems like something happened. He would not disappear without a reason.

"Vannieee!" Eric's voice echoed in my unit

Yes, I'm currently staying at my unit. After the battle I had with Michael, I've decided to stay here. Axel stays here as well but just like I've said, he disappeared last night.

"Keep your fucking tone down, Eric Pires." I glared at him but he grinned at me. Are you trying to piss me off?

"Okay po!" Malakas n'ya pading sabi, I get my gun from my pocket and put it on the table in front of me. I'm sitting on my couch, just watching a television until Eric appeared in front of me—bugging the hell of me.

He gulped "H-hindi ka naman m-mabiro," he nervously asks "Ah! May sasabihin nga pal—"

"How's Lennox?" I cut him off while watching a show. About my gift for Cathy, it's about Dave. After our battle, I made sure that Cathy would see Dave once again.

He was tortured by Michael. He even blackmailed him that he would kill Cathy if he won't breakup with her. Michael thought that if they broke up, Cathy will be affected and once she get affected Hellacious will be out of control. But nah, he was freaking wrong. Completely wrong.

While we were on our way to War Field a few days ago, I told Eric to track Lennox location and there we found him in Michael's hideout. Bloody and unconscious.

His condition isn't that serious yet he has to stay at the hospital for now, especially now that he could not get up by himself. So yeah, I guess he has no choice but to stay there.

'That sucks.'

"Ayon, Vannie. Buhay pa naman." Kumuha s'ya ng brownies na nasa lamesa, I stared at him. Stunned by his fast move "Oops. Nakain ko na, wala ka ng magagawa Vannie. Hihihi." He said, teasing me.

I rolled my eyes "Did you bring the fruits?" I've asked him a but fruits for Dave earlier, I could not visit Dave because of my tight schedule. There were a lot of damages in War Field—it means that I have a lot to do.

He nodded "Oo naman yes, hinahanap ka nga pala nila." My left eyebrow raised "Pero sabi ko busy ka hehehe."

I don't have anything to do today yet I've decided to stay in my unit, as much as I want to visit Dave at the hospital—I'm fucking tired from those tasks at War Field. Naisip ko na, kailangan ko muna mag pahinga.

Actually, it depends on my mood. I just feel—not going out for today. Lazy as fuck, that's me.

"Nasaan nga pala ang," he coughed "Boyfriend mo?" I shot him with ny death glare "K-kalma naman, Vannie!"

"Tss! I already told you, he's not my boyfriend!" I exclaimed, how many times do I have to say this? Gosh. I'm tired of saying it over and over again!

He pouts "Walang label," he teases. I throw a pillow on his face. "Grabe naman si Vannie." He laughs but I hissed "So nasaan nga?"

I shrugged my shoulders as I placed my back on the couch. "He went away." I simply said, well that's the truth! He didn't say anything that's why.

"Ooh." I gazed at Eric "Siguro nawala bigla noh?" Pang aasar n'ya "Baka naman may babae," he smirks at me

I get my gun from the table as he raises his hands "J-joke lang naman! Si V-vannie hindi mabiro." He gulps "S-si Vannie talaga," he walk towards me and held my shoulders "C-chill Vannie,"

He massages it, I glared at him "Get off!" I scoffed. "Tsk!"

"V-vannie, vannie!" Hinawakan n'ya ang kamay ko "Joke lang naman, sorry na. Bati na tayo." He hugs me

"Let go, ugh." I pushed him away "Ew."

"Damot naman ni Vannie," he was about to laugh but he realized something "Ah! Yung sasabihin ko!"

"Save it." I stood up, I'm not in the mood to talk right now because of what he said. May babae? Okay! The hell I care!

He held my hand and pull me "What the hell?!" I gave him my death glare but he smiled at me "Wait lang kasi Vannie, atat na atat?" I rolled my eyes

"Make it damn fast and make sure it's worh my time. I need to sleep." I suddenly want to sleep, tsk. My mood was ruined already.

"Yung invitation diba?" My forehead creased

"What invitation are you talking about?" As far as I remember I didn't get an invitation for someone else's wedding?

"Yung para sa drag racing!" He says "Bukas na 'yon, baka makalimutan mo." He pouts as he links his arm on mine "Ikaw kasama ko ah."

Oh, I thought invitation for a wedding. "Tss. Yeah right." He hugs me "Let go! Ugh." I pushed him away, due to that he kissed the pillow. He grunts "Vannie talaga!"

I shooked my head on what I saw, "I'll sleep for now." I continue to walk to my room "Turn off the freaking television and throw away those brownies if you're not gonna eat that." I say

"Ako na bahala dito!"

Well, I'm sure that while I'm sleeping he will lay on my couch as he watches his freaking favorite cartoon show. Tom and Jerry. While eating those brownies I left there.

Sanay na 'din ako, he always do that. I'm not surprise, he even sleeps here. Sometimes, he sleeps here and I didn't have any idea that he's inside my unit. He freaking hacked my goddamn door just to fucking get in.

'One of the perks of being a hacker.'

But yeah, it's fine. I got used to it and I know that I don't have any choice tsk. He might end up crying again and again.
