xlvi. once she returns

Vanessa's POV

IN MY dreams, I saw myself holding a CZ 75 and ready to pull the trigger to anyone who will get on my way. I was searching for someone and when I reached an abandoned room, I saw man.

He's not looking at me and he's staring at the burning people in front of him. I pointed my gun at him

"Turn around, asshole."

When he turned his back, his vivid eyes scrutinized mine. His face is not clear but he seems familiar. That man is wearing a suit and his face has a lot of wounds.

That man laughed when he saw my face "How have you been?" I examined the area and I saw bloodstains on the floor

"Put your gun down," I pointed my gun at his hands. He smiled at me that's why I glared at him "I said put your fucking gun down!"

Sinunod naman nito ang pinag uutos ko. He put down his gun and kicked it towards my direction. Inapakan ko ito para hindi lumagpas sa aking direksyon.

"This is suppose to be a surprise party for you pero dumating ka kaagad." Even his voice seems familiar

"What are you trying to say?" He's evilly laugh and moved aside.

It's like, he's making me look at those people who's turning into ashes.

"Sinunog ko ang katawan nila." Dumako ang paningin ko sa kaniya "Enjoying the view?"

Kumunot ang noo ko, "Who . . ." I amble at his direction "Who are you?"

He scoffs and I was about to repeat my question but a woman whose body is burning looked at me, asking for my help.

Her eyes begging.

Her eyes are asking for help

Her eyes are so familiar that made my heart broken. Who is this woman?

Even her face is not clear in my dream but while watching her die and burning, I can feel my chest tighten.

"Q-Queen . . ."

My eyes were stucked at her face. I blinked several times as her face glitches. "H-help me,"

"H-help u-us . . ."

I placed my palm on my mouth when her face becomes clear as I felt a tear running on my cheeks.

"Cathy . . ."

"VANESSA!" Axel held both of ny hands "Are you okay? You shouted Cathy's name." My eyes drifted to him.

Withour thinking twice, I immediately hug him and rest my head on his chest "Baby . . ."

"It's just a bad dream," Axel caress my back. I shook my head a bit because I saw Cathy's pleading eyes again.

"C-Cathy," bumitaw ako sa pagkakayakap sa kaniya "She's i-in danger!"

"She needs me! Cathy--" napatigil ako sa pagsasalita nang mag tagpo ang mga mata namin, "Baby?"

"Is there something wrong?"
