Vanessa's POV

TONIGHT'S gonna be a big night. Tonight, I will watch a drag racing consisting of different gangsters as well as assassins around the world.

At first, I didn't want to go but I've realized that it's gonna be awesome because I will meet those gangsters from the other countries.

That would be so exciting.

I'm wearing a black halter top with a fitted skirt. My outfits are glittery that will surely catch everybody's attention.

I went to the front of my mansion and there I saw my BMW. I smiled at Eric, he's standing beside my car "Kaya naman pala matagal,"

I heard him say as I glared at him "Shut up, Pires." I rolled my eyes as I get in the car. He got in as well.

He started to buckle his seatbelt "Let's go?" I smirked at him

"H-hindi ka mag siseatbelt?" His voice is shaking

I grinned at him "I don't buckle seatbelts if I'm wearing this type of outfit." His jaw dropped as I step on the gas harshly

With that his loud voice echoed inside the car. I chuckled because of that.

THE VENUE is mesmerizing, a lot of people are already here. They're already interacting with each other. While I was walking, someone grabbed my arm.

It's Eric, "Wala kang bra?!" He seems irritated. My brows furrowed as I laugh my ass out

"Dumbass! I'm wearing a strapless bra!" I couldn't help not to laugh, his face softens and pouts

"Bakit kasi ang hilig mong mag suot ng ganyan? Hanggang ngayon hindi padin ako sanay." He said while pouting

"You should be used to it." I say as I start walking, he offered me his arm. I nodded and did what he wanted me to do-to hold his arm while walking.

"Kahit na, Vannie. Kapag nabastos ka, paano kapag wala ako?" He says seriously

"Well, I don't need anyone's protection." I confidently said "I can protect myself."

"Pero natamaan ka ng bala ng baril?" He sarcastically said, talking about the gunshot on my shoulder "Alam mo Vannie, alam ko naman na hindi mo kayang mabuhay ng wala ako." He laughs as I rolled my eyes

Whatever, Pires.

While walking, someone went closer to our direction "Good evening, my lady." He offered his hand, I gave him my hand and he kissed the top of it "Welcome, Mafia Queen."

Eric cleared his throat and snaked his arm on my waist, what the hell? "I guess the successful businessman is also here! Welcome, mister Pires."

"Thanks for your warm welcome." He seriously said.

So, where's the bubbly Eric I know? He became serious and deadly all of a sudden. "Anyways, I'm glad you two came."

"Of course, who would miss this kind of event?" I chuckles "I'm looking forward for tonight's race, I hope you won't disappoint me." I smirked

He blinked "Y-yes, of course. We won't disappoint the Mafia Queen."

WHILE WATCHING the race I felt someone looking at me from afar, my forehead creased and tried to find Axel around me "May problema ba, Vannie?"

Eric seems weird, since we got here he became clingy and acts like my boyfriend. Tss, I already told him that he doesn't need to protect me from these people.

But yeah, he won't let me, make him stop. "Nothing, I just felt someone's looking at me." I said that in my low tone

With that, he leaned closer to me. "Tsk, Eric!" I glared at him yet he pouts

Everybody clapped and so did we. I must say that tonight's show is great, they reached my expectations, I guess.

The racers are competitive and I like that. "Vannie, pansin ko lang halos lahat ng nandito ay galing Australia."

I nodded "Actually nah," I looked around "They all seem irish," we continue to clap

And for the last lap, the one with the red mustang won. Everybody stood up while prasing that guy. "Eric," I called him

He gazed at my direction "Any update about Michael's background?"

"Vannie," he cleared his throat "Ang totoo ay may kapatid siyang babae. Mas matanda sa kaniya." My eyes widened "Si Michael lang ang inampon ng Emperor kasi hindi siya naniniwala sa kakayahan ng mga babae."

Hmm, what else? "Pinalabas ng Emperor na patay na ang kapatid ni Michael, kaya hindi na ito hinanap ni Michael."

I sighed, new enemy again? Tsk.

"Anong plano mo, Vannie?" He asks "Wag ka namang susugod mag isa, Vannie." He pouts,

"Well," I looked away "I'll try,"

I gazed at the racer who won, he's bowing to everyone in the arena. He looked at me, and kneel "Congratulations." I say, he stood up and bowed to me

But all of a sudden, someone caught my eye. A woman, again.

She's staring at me, her eyes are deadly. While she's staring blankly at me, I tried to walk towards her.

Eric held my hand but I moved his hands away. He keeps calling my name but I didn't bother to look at him while walking towards that woman

She slowly smirks at me and suddenly a loud explosion happened.
