Chapter 27, Is he hot?
"No way! He really said that?" Marcus' voice boomed out of the speakers that were set on my desk. I had forgiven Marcus a while ago. I couldn't stay mad at him even though he kept important things from me. I called him after a few days of ignoring him and demanded an explanation. Marcus was scared that I wouldn't leave my house anymore because of the news. He was just worried about me, which I totally get. Whenever I go out now, whether it's school or going to Hannah's, I look around before actually leaving the house. You never know if he is here somewhere. It scares me that Oliver is out of prison, out in the world. The same world that I live in. Thankfully, his prison was on the other side of America. So I don't think that he can actually find me.
I nodded my head to confirm. "He did. I didn't know what to respond so I just kind of sat there, staring at him like he had just admitted to have stolen all of my candy or some shit like that."
Marcus groaned, "Katie! No! You have to say something flirty back when he says something like that!" I saw him pick up a pillow before putting it back down, shaking his head.
"You wanted to throw the pillow at me, didn't you?" I narrowed my eyes.
"Maybe." He looked in to the camera. "Too bad that we're states apart."
My door was thrown open wide by an all too familiar face. Her long and slender body slumped onto my bed. "Hey." Hannah said.
"Hey Han." Marcus waved, "Have you heard about the date with Ethan, yet?"
"You had a date?" She piped up and pushed me aside, taking in the whole space in front of my computer. "Who was it? Is he hot? Can you show me a picture?"
Marcus laughed at Hannah's excitement. "It wasn't me who went on a date. Katie did."
"What?! And you didn't care to tell me?" Hannah turned around quickly, her eyes spitting fire.
"I was planning on telling you today." I flinched as she jumped up.
"You better tell me EVERYTHING right now, young lady." She sat back down, making sure that Marcus could see us too.
So I told her everything, from the moment he found me at our spot to the bowling date. I told her about Oliver and everything he had done to me. Marcus stayed quiet most of the time, only speaking when I forgot an important part of my story. Hannah was shocked, to say the least. I'd be shocked too.
"I think it's good that you're getting to know Ethan. He can help you." She smiled, "And I will look out for you. You're my friend and I'd do anything to help you."
ONE NEW TEXT
Dumbest boy ever
I laughed at the name.
Dumbest boy ever: Do you want to come over? I can make us something to eat.
Me: Will it be poisonous?
Dumbest boy ever: I'll do my best to make it edible 😉

"You can actually cook!" I said surprised as Ethan gave me my plate. The smell was mouth-watering and I quickly dug in, not waiting for Ethan's response.
"A little." He grinned as he pressed play. We decided to watch Big Hero 6. I had seen it countless of times and I think I even had a little crush on Tadashi. So it was no wonder when I started crying.
"What happened? Why are you crying?" Ethan seemed a bit freaked out by my whale-like state.
"Ta-Tadashii!" I cried out, grabbing another tish.
"He died fourty minutes ago." He said flatly. "You should be over it by now."
"I know!" I screamed, "I was over it, but then I thought of him again. My beautiful baby."
"You're weird."
"You're still hanging out with me aren't you?" I winked before standing up. "I'm craving some cookie dough ice cream."
"Grayson got some from the store yesterday!" I felt a pang in my chest. Grayson. I hadn't talked to him for what felt like ages. He must think that I dumped him for his twin brother. Oh my god. I feel bad.
"Where is Gray anyway?" I asked Ethan who was currently in the kitchen, grabbing the ice cream.
"He's upstairs."
"I'm going to go get him." Ethan looked at me weirdly and before he had a chance to say something, I ran up the stairs.
I knocked on the door.
"What do you want, Ethan?" Grayson's voice sounded muffled through the door.
"It's Katie. Can I come in?" The door was opened not soon after and in front of me stood Grayson. His hair was laying messily on his head. I suited him, he looked handsome.
"I was wondering if you wanted to watch a movie with me and Ethan downstairs? I wanted to watch Suicide Squad or something like that."
Grayson lips tugged up into a smile. "You know I can't say no to that."
I laughed and headed back down, plopping down next to Ethan. Grayson sat down on my other side and I quickly put on the movie. I looked to my left, where Ethan was sitting. He was giving Grayson a look, but turned back to the screen when he noticed me watching him.
Why did he look so angry about Grayson joining us?
