It's gone!

Chapter 7

Noroi stood there and looked Kami in the face. Skyler was was pacing back and forth mindlessly talking. Kami pulled both Noroi and Skyler into a house at the end of the busy street. Skyler sat down and stared at nothing while Noroi and Kami talked.

"Are you sure that was my dad. I'm mean like, I've never seen him so I guess he might be. But then again he didn't much look like me. I mean I can see it in the hair and maybe in the face shape or maybe in the ear---" Noroi was rambling when Kami cut her off.

"Please stop talking. My ear is about to fall off. Yes that was your father. He must have found your bag when looking for you in the woods. Let's hope he believed Skyler's lie." Kami said not at all shocked.

"Well, he can't get in here right? Like i'm safe here..." Noroi asked.

"Yes, he shouldn't be able to get here. But that doesn't mean he might not try. Your lucky he didn't get your blade." Kami said turning away.

"He sure tried.." Noroi said falling back on a couch.

"He saw it?" Kami turned around.

"Yeah, but Skyler got it back."

"Well, now he knows your alive. He's gonna really try to find you now. Stay in the city limits."

Day by day goes by with no mention of his name. Noroi was living an okay life getting to know all the towns people. They would show her their magic, then she would them her sword. They loved Noroi and she loved them. They were the family she never had. She made good friends. Kami was spending her time going around the forest making sure that the man had not returned.

One day though, Noroi was talking to two of her friends Alyssiana and Danni. Kami came in soaking wet again.

"I never asked," Said Noroi, "Why were you wet that one time in the woods that one time?"

"You don't know a lot about me huh. You only know about my past so I may as well tell you about me now. I love to swim. I'm really fast too. Uhh, What else do you want to know?" She asked but yet it sounded like a statement.

"Uhh, Where did you come from?" Alyssiana asked.

"That's a long story but i'll shorten it. I was born a sword with my twin brother from my parents. My mother was queen of the light side and my father king of the dark side. They weren't supposed to see each other because of there's sides. It's almost like a race. They just weren't supposed to mix. But they did and had me and my brother. We were wielded by a beautiful person named Sakura. Sadly she died and I couldn't save her. I died too but I was reincarnated back here on earth. My brother is somewhere out there. And i'm still trying to find him." She said.

The whole room was quite. They were all staring at Kami.

"Your a sword?" Noroi asked.

"Half of one yes"

"So, like how?" Alyssiana asked.

"It just works that way."

"But where is the place you come from? Like is it on Earth?"

"No, but I don't really know where it is..."

"How do you not know?" Asked Noroi

"I know a lot, but that is something that I just don't know."

The room was quite for a minute until Kami spoke again.

"I saw a man in the forest with some machine. Remember, don't leave the town." Kami added.
